Animal Agression

Postby .::. MysticGötén .::. » Thu Feb 19, 2004 8:05 pm

I dunno if this has already been said, but it's just so annoying....

Agressive animals (like Wild Boars) always attack me within seconds when I arrive at at "their" place. And I never even harm them...
I guess they just wanna protect themselves and all, but how come you can only hunt a pack of animals once a day, but a pack of aninmals can attack you as much as they want? Isn't that a bit unfair?
I mean, I arrived at this place and whitin minutes I got attacked twice by this angry pack of Wild Boars. I was nearly dead!

And what is the deal with this "animal boom"? All the animals have multiplied. In that place there were first, 1 wild boar and 3 zebras. And now there are 5 wild boars and 17 zebras. I bit to much if you ask me. Especially because it takes days before you kill a Wild Boar...

I have no complaints about an animal boom, we need more.

However I agree, a person should be able to attack each individual animal in a pack - especially since they can do the same to people.

ZEBRAS?! I want zebras!

I have no objections about the population of animals like rabbits, and zebras and cows ( the ones who don't attack)

But the agressive ones, like wild boars and all don't have to increase that much. Maybe they should also attack each other. That way they would kill themselves.... saves me a lot of time...

What annoys me is that animals can attack us all they want, but we can only do it once per day.

Maybe there should be a max. number of agressive animals in a place? Would work fine for me!

Nooooo, more aggressive animals is good! People don't care how much you hunt the aggressive ones.

If you kill the nice fluffy ones they think you are cruel - if you kill the mean one you're a hero.

How about the poor pple unarmed? Going into the woods , hoping to find some wood and make a weapon. But when they get there they immediatly get attacked and lose health so they can hardly work anymore. And can't make a weapon but have to run now...

And you think 5 wild boars in 1 place isn't enough?

It appears that we have the same animal boom as before. It may not be apprent to everyone yet but it has only been a very few days. We do need more but the rate in the last few days will overrun the characters again.

I may not understand all math but I do understand the power of compound interest and geometric growth rates.

I noticed lol

There are like 25 animals there and only 2 pple :)

And in real life we would just hide from wild boars so they can't attack us... thats wot I am doing right now...

Sorry, I was the one that pointed that animal reproduction wasn't working and Cosmo fixed it.

Anyway, I think it is good. As I said in Resources, exploring should be dangerous and it gives the Cantr societies something natural to deal with rather than worrying about who is taking over what land today.

Anywho, now people won't be complaining that there aren't enough animals.

It's him.... The Anomaly...Do we proceed?..Yes.... He is still......only human.

I agree but if the boom continues even heavily populated areas will be dangerous.
