Hi :)
I'm wondering how the region from Seatown Forest to the Kriff Hills has developed since the days of chars such as Maily Yumm, Gregor McGregor, Devon Dobbs, etc. Just an overview, not anything that might spoil anything for anyone currently playing.
Thanks!

From when I spawned, it's been pretty peaceful (it was aroudn the 1600's-1750's) though it's gradually become increasingly violent... at least for the MacGregors... Not exactly sure about the other areas in the region.

Well, at the moment there are several big things going on... well, not big but huge things but can't tell you really... since it's current.

I really don't have too much experience with the early times, so somebody else might need to tell you.

the union is pretty much history, none of the union towns ever really work together on anything anymore. Devon is still alive though lol, although he's aggrivating my character lately.can't really say much else without it being a CRB.

I wouldn't know. My character there has been asleep for a good ten to fifteen years now. :-S

I expect it'd be a nice time to wake up depending on where you are. :P

No. There's potential for some RPing depending on where you are. Well, there's always potential but still. xD

Ah... whatever.

That's part of the reason I've let him sleep for 15 to 20 years. I've lived through enough Cantr shenanigans. Each episode is the same as the last one. I'm too old for this --.

Seatown Forest died for me with Mary Williams. I tried to keep involved until the MacGregors assassinated Fearless. Between the invention of the radio, cheap food, and watching half of his friends kidnapped or murdered, my poor character has become one of those nonagenarians with little joy or purpose left in life.

He occasionally has the stamina to wake up and tell a random story from the old days, and people will humor him. *scratchy old man voice* "I remember way back in 1100 when I had to work eleven years burying bodies for Mary Williams while waiting for the postmaster to return and give me my postal job. Then I had to walk my route for the next ten years until we could afford a bicycle! You young whipper snappers with your vans and your rakers don't have a clue how easy you got it..."

Nah, she paled in comparison to Maily. She was something to watch.

Are there any great leaders of today that match up to Maily and all those other legendary ones?

Not even close.

No, I take that back. There is one red-haired tyrant that I think matches up quite well.
