deploying

Back from an absence, in which I could barely make sure my charries (all 3 of them) stayed fed, for less than three days, and I find out I'm assuming another Airman's slot for the next rotation in February. They did all they could to find somebody else as I had several plans, but they just didn't have anybody else, period. Unless something drastic happens, I'm definitely going to be gone for ~4 months, probably longer.
Unless there's internet where we're going that wasn't there last I heard, or there's a means of putting an account on an extended vacation, I'll need an account sitter, and that's just the beginning of my preparations. Found out just today, so things are a scramble.
I definitely don't want this to be a repeat of fall '07, when a similar situation coupled with a computer crash doomed my old account.
