I have one small complaint. Each time it checks it flickers the tray icon, even though i doesn't change state as such. Example: ! > check > flicker > !.
This draws my eye. Are you perhaps changing state each time, even though you don't have to? In that case, can you remember the state and have it not flicker each time?
I have a rather slow computer, so this may not even be visible on faster machines if it takes less time than your screens refresh rate.

I installed cantrspy to my notebook but i think it was not the right version for Vista.It is not showing active characters as list.

Which one did you install?
The one which has and Adobe AIR installer, or the one that comes in a ZIP/RAR archive. The former version doesn't have a character list implemented yet.
