You can consider yourself an old timer to Cantr when...

Here is a fun topic. Just two rules...it has to be older than 40 years old in Cantr time and cannot be a CRB. I'll start...

You can consider yourself an old timer to Cantr when you remember who Purple Tortoise was, what she did, and how it changed the game (the mass discovery that dragging oneself keeps others from dragging you)...

Also, this can be in game events, forum events, or game function events or anything to do with Cantr in general.

When you tuned in daily to The Industrialist VS Pirog soap opera.

When the Treefeather map was a huge, amazing feat.

...When you remember a time before knocking on doors were allowed...

...when you remember a time before dragging of anything was allowed...

...when you remember and actively participated in the forming of Siom/Quillanoi/Brunoi alliance (not sure if it ever continued beyond that point; there were a few moments where collapse was possible; and I haven't had a character in those territories in a long time)...

...when you remember who Jos' character was in Quillanoi that he actively played...

Wait...I still think that Treefeather is a a huge amazing feat...

How about even though I was not even a twinkle in the eye of the grandparent of some charry...the moment when one of Nitefrye's charries was humbled by the task of making a hammer?

If you remember when the Church of the Unnamed ones was active.

Well, I'm not quite *that* old, but my char has talked to others who (a) built the first fire pits in a town, (b) remembers there being very few animals. But I was certainly long before the Wiki, and, I guess, the war between TBR and K-isle is my first significant memory from my own chars.

The earliest things I remember were that there were still old iron projects left to be mined, there were no skills, everyone was strong and even complicated items were made of resources instead of components. There were people rp'ing dogs and babies. Towns tended to have dozens of people in them and - maybe this is just my imagination but there were no sleepers. At least I don't remember noticing them.

If you remember LuNaTic LarRy from Pok.

If you remember Al Abhol, and Wu Tang from Blojt and were actually there when the Commonwealth was becoming an IDEA!! IE How Wu Tang inivited people to discuss talks of organizing a government. This is before most towns had governments ~at all.~

If you remember Axhind and Alyssa. If you remember that Omi used to live in Quillanoi. (He's so ancient.) If you remember Ophelia.

If you remember when the Siom government was coming in to power. I remember before there were any paved roads, (mostly because I helped build a lot of the roads. You peopl think that some are bad now you should have walked some roads in a lot of my dead chars shoes.) IE I remember it taking forever to get to Jakara. Forever. If you remember Ima Pig. Samantha Bain. Stabber Stan. If you know what the Donkey proposal was. And actually everyone always fames treefeather map, but the first huge map in Cantr was actually the Armedian Koloff and Jordan Morris map.

If you discover a unfinnished truck in town that one of your own characters that you played in the 200's had started on 262, and the damn thing still isn't finnished!

If you know who Cathy Willey, Genevieve Hokanson, Thomas Pickert, and Kozmoh are.

If you remember when our forum was a Yahoo Group instead of this.
I hate people.
