Apologies, and Thanks....
Well I believe I have had as much as I can stand. I have resigned from the Players Department. For some of you, that should make you very happy, for others who have asked me to continue in my position my sincere apologies. I just can not do it anymore. The lack of support, the constant abuse, harrassment and badgering, the constant 13 year old attitudes from supposed adults who cannot get it through their heads this is a game will finally wear anyone down. For the rest of you who have been trying to play by the rules and actually do give a damn about the game, I thank you. Some of you actually made my job on this volunteer position much more pleasent. The kind comments the cooperation some of you have shown in the simple and in the more difficult cases were very appreciated and made my job easier and gave me a reason to want to stick around. But enough is finally enough. At this point I am ready to quit the game itself, but I will be staying around for a few days to think further on that decision. It has however been a pleasure to help those of you I have been able to help.
Happy Cantr'ing everyone and thank you.

I'm giving it a few days to decide, and it isn't he rp from the wonderful characters around mine that will or won't keep me around. You see, my characters get too involved in the conflicts in the area because apparently I'm TOO active. In fact I have so many involved with things going on and don't make them sleep that people tend to notice who I am and that causes "waves"...because then people are drawn to mine and assumptions are made. And then I'm told I should limit the play of my characters and not play them so much or get them involved in anything around them. If anything makes me quit completely it will be the ooc issues surrounding my game play. I am enjoying the game, just not the ooc crap that goes along with actually playing it.

After the conversation I had last night, yes. I'm done. Sorry about that pilot but it's not worth this game making me feel like crap night after night because people take it so damn seriously and become vicious when they make assumptions and can't handle the results they get in return. It isn't worth having this game keep me miserable because I happen to care what people think about me. And others think I have personal "issues" because of the way my characters play. There's a few poeple that see me as the "manipulative bitch of cantr" because I'm on staff and have important characters. Must be some big staff conspiracy right? Taking myself off staff should help this problem, at least the staff conspiracy part. Maybe. Oh and then there's other who think they can do my job better than I can. Now they'll have the chance. We will see where it goes from here. This is a game and not worth my tears anymore.

I'm sad to hear this.
All too often the game and community suffer due to behind-the-scenes goings on, because all too often the net result is the game loses people who it can ill afford to lose.
I hope that by resigning from staff you can at least rediscover the enjoyment that caused you to volunteer to the staff originally.

Dear rconley,
I'm really sorry about your decision. Please consider me an old friend in game but a rather new one in the forum.
That is why I rarely speak in the forum or out of game. Please just play the game. Forget everything out of the game. The fun is in the game and... to be honest... I really try to know the least I can outside the game.
The fun is to just play it and not give a damn about what is going on out of it.
P.S. - Just look how few posts I have... however I play Cantr for a long time now... and having some major characters now.
P.S.S. - I know you have other responsibilities... more important ones. But just try... you'll see how great it is to be really free to enjoy Cantr universe!!!

This is not a good thing for Cantr...
Speaking from one that has had to deal with you through PD I thought you did a Great job.. Even though I was the one in question. You did you job unbiased and fairly... So much so that as you know anytime after words if I had a question I would just IM you instead of going through the PD department. Maybe I was wrong in doing so If I caused you extra greave I appolgized as well.
I wouuld love to see you remain as a PD member but if not PLEASE PLEASE and PLEASE stick around as a Character player.

Thank you guys. At least now I dont' feel like my time on PD has been a total and complete waste and maybe that I have actually done some good.
I've been doing some discussing with a friend. And I've told them despite quitting pd, I will stick around and play the game for the time being. So I'm sticking around for a little while at least. It will give myself a little time to deal with the frustration and anger Ive been feeling now at everything. It gets difficult after a while with taking so much abuse when you start to feel EVERYONE is agianst you... And you all helped a little with my decision to stick around for a while as well. I would miss you guys. I would miss the game I'm sure. But I don't intend on dealing with the abuse anymore. So hopefully things will calm down a little now.
