I don't know that char, but what has it done to earn your respect?

I remember that name, I think one of my characters encountered her briefly, but yeah, what did she do?

She discovered a new island filled with exotic resources and made an outstanding, thorough map detailing the shape/outline of the entire island with the resources found on all the coastal cities as well as a general distribution of animals she saw on her exploration.

Her map will eventually spread and more people will soon see her fantastic work.

I agree that the making of this map was totally nuts.
Please realize that some people once came up with the idea that something this big could become a fun thing in Cantr. And, much worse, they actually 'designed' and implemented it.

Laika still thinks this island is a fun thing, but it almost made me quit the game more than once.

How many locations are on the map?

I've done almost 40 locations on my map by foot. Now I've got dirtbike so it'll go faster from here on.

You should check the map for that.
The locations have numbers.

Unbelievable... ...with the current number of players, we can't even thoroughly populate the smaller islands. How are we ever going to populate an island like this?

We're not supposed to. It might be good for pirates though.

Good for pirating empty uninhabited settlements... That's a great boost for the game.

Pirates need bases. Theoretically.

It's mapped already? I'm currently attempting a map, but I've done maybe 10% of the coastline. A decade or two left.

o.O I suppose that the place is huge. Bigger than Cantr and Treefeather combined. O_O It call dibs, now I just gotta get my more greedy characters to find it.
