Sort of.
The first one might try to take over an island, but that's not the main reason he could be dangerous.
The second one wouldn't dream of it.
The third wouldn't, either.
The fourth is trying to help someone else take over the world.
The fifth might, but that wouldn't be her aim.
The sixth not only would not but also cannot. She might help someone else dominate the world she knows, however.
The seventh wouldn't.
The eighth already thinks he rules over the whole world

Umm, OK. How many of these characters are currently ruling 10 or more towns? One popular island has almost 100 towns. How many game years would it take just to visit every town in Cantr, not to mention take them over? I am assuming you know what the Capital Rule is and don't plan to break it.
Of course, maybe you players already know how impossible the goal is, but you enjoy playing delusional characters. Every town needs its clown, cave man, mute, or megalomaniac.

In a way, one of my characters is. Not like control everything, but bring it all themessage of Donii. He has a way to get to the hislands. (is it against the rules for an english character to sail to forign laungage island)
Onemight think about it
Another is hoping to rule an island though buissness, and ecomney.

My newspawn would like to take over the world. Granted, he has never seen a map so the world only extends to as far as he can see and where he has been. But even if a single person couldn't take over the world, a group might, if they share a powerful ideology. Think about early Christianity irl, it spread over the known world of their time, even though the regions where it first got it's foothold have later turned into Islamic regions, it was still great at the time. So with the right ideology and the right audience, it might be possible to convert at least a part of an island's population to support some philosophy, all you got to do is know which strings to pull.

Yes, also if you are trying to take over something, you often have to lie, bribe, threaten, trick, or all sorts of things. Depends on the place, people, reason, and other factors though, sometimes all you have to do is tell the simple truth straight out.
Also, why do people come, answer the poll, and then don't respond?

Well technically speaking you dont have to go to towns to take them over if you have a large enough army you can just break it up ans send it seprate ways once they take something over you controle another place of course the army might rebel while your gone. but hey no world is perfect

I'm just wondering, but ah... are you new to Cantr. Its not as simple as that.
As soon as somebody gets word of your plans, some goodie-two shoes are going to organize a massive group and come demolish you. It's really hard, even to organize one tiny invasion if you the majority of the people will probably be against you. You can't even make one mistake, trust me, I've tried.

And you never really see treasons that much in Cantr...

Even if they do it is still possible to theoretically take over cantr

It would be hard if it is possible, with the Portuguese, and the Lithuians out there, they would probably never join you, and there are the other laungages that might not understand you, and then the older clans, the Macgregors, the Empire of lad, Blojt, the Stone Knights, the Blackrocks, those groups will probably never work together.

Heck, the MacGregors probably just kill you up front. My MacGregor would and I'm sure some others would too.
Money, do you know how big Cantr is?!? I really, really doubt that you could take over Cantr. It would take hundreds of players and characters to pull of a feet like that. There are probably hundreds of Cantrian islands, and you have to find them first. It probably is possible, in more than one Cantrian lifetime.

Well, my Ex-Macgregor, maybe still Macgregor, not sure after that one event with that one other Macgregor... he would have talked it out, tried to hold the violence off as long as he could, unless you insulted theclan, then he would kill you. Know he doesn't care about the clan.
And, a portugues army could probably take over cantr, they see someone that doens't speak their laungage, dead

And one thing is, the word spreads, even without people revealing their plans in a topic like this, you can bet your sorry ass that after the first attack, the word will spread through messengers and irc, no matter the 4 day rule, and even if people wouldn't build up their defenses because that would be a CRB, the players will still be more alert knowing that there's an attack to be expected, and that makes a difference. Also if someone comes to tell that someone is taking over a town, if the players know OOC that it's true and might even have some of their other characters or their friends' characters involved (as in danger), people will be more likely to help and interfere. I wonder if someone made up a story, completely made it up and begged for help, would people be as eager to help because I'm sure at least someone would know OOC it's a lie.
But this is all about violent takeovers, it doesn't need to be that way. You could also peacefully convince people that some way of doing things is better than the old way, and it might work if it's good enough.

Yes, that is what one of my characters is trying to do, since he doesn't believe in fighting
