Cantr II Discussion Forum

Just wondering but is there actually any swamps, jungles, rivers, volcanoes, and tundras in Cantr? I noticed them being listed as habitats for certain animals but I never actually found them. Are there any other types of terrain?

There are certainly lots of swamps, also some on the English islands. Well, one of them at least. Finnish island has a lot of swamps and I hear there's tundra too, though I haven't seen it. I lately saw a couple of mountains but they only had stone.

Oh and my Swedish character saw a jungle near the Esperanto region. Didn't look like much though.

I wonder about volcanoes though... that'd be something interesting. Lets toss people into the lava!

Nope, I don't think volcanoes. I haven't seen any of the others, but one character has a map that says there is a swamp by his location, on the siom, zuzi, kii island

Volcano's would be cool would culd have like whole religionss centerd round them and sacrifices and othe cool stuff...Maybe first Cantr BBQ

Ah yes, random eruptions every 20 years or so that wipe out the entire populations of the surrounding towns forcing the societies to reset and restart in the region.
I think there'd have to be some extremely rare and extremely useful resource to encourage people to keep coming back there though.

I know for sure there is swamps now.
