Since the Iron Drill has been renamed "Hermatite Drill," shouldn't it be just as easy to rename the cars as chariots for cars, royal chariots for limos, wagon for vans, etc...? I think it matches the atmosphere better.
Technically, yes. Poltically, no.
But it does streches the envelop of fairness at this point.
To make a van takes 94 game years to get the materials, not including eating, glass, travel, machine building, engine, storage, theft, animals, random violence and tool time.
If you convince 1% of all chracters in Cantr to join you (30 people) then that time is about 3 years.
My estimate is that in the past when steel was on the ground the equivelant was a 4 year effort for a single person.

Why does it take so long to dock a boat? I undocked and re-docked without going anywhere. I think it took 4 game hours to dock.
When you first launch a boat it sails across the land for a short time what happens If you sail a boat directly into a harbor or land will it stop moving at the coast or will it continue on the land.

I never looked into the details there for any of these questions.
I have assumed it is long because it is supposed to be.

Docking is really random.
One can be at 10% immediately, 12% the following day, and docked the next turn.
It's very strange.
Never realized how long it took to get a van. Of course, once the infrastructure's there it'd be easier to make a second one.

Not to mention from random corpse drops etc... that people get which sometimes are valuable for use or trade...

I love the act of looting dead bodies in the morning....
Only one of my characters profited well off a dead body, in Brunoi, when no one claimed the junk, vacuumed into my char's inventory. Shovel, Sickle, Iron Shield, Iron, Dung Fork, Etc.

Docking isn't that random, the closer you get to docking the faster you dock...sorta like in real life when you get close to something you try your best to hurry it up a bit to get it over with. If you keep track of the #'s for one whole docking procedure you'll see what I mean. The initial docking progess is an indication of a boats overall speed, at least that's what I've figured out by haveing chars on 4 different types of boats at one time or other.
