No, i'm not leaving. But I would like to use this thread to adress people unsubcribing recently for reasons not disclosed.
It has hit home. Since I only have one toon, and someone close to that toon has unsubcribed. I'm not angry. I don't think anyone thats been effected by it is angry. I just want to say please come back to us as soon as possible, and if it's not possible then keep safe. It may only be a toon, but I remember everything that happens to all my favorite toons. I know I'll always cherrish the times we had.
Again, to all those that leave: Keep safe.

Yes, the same has happened to me...
So to all those leaving... good-bye and have fun... stay safe and don't party too much...

A lot of people have died abruptly so that has lead to a couple of my characters gaining a lot of stuff. I would trade it all (or correction, most of it) for nice company though.

There is no doubt Cantr is a unique game with some great people playing. But people move on naturally, and sometimes seemingly little things push people over the edge to the big green cross.

The same can be said for those toons left behind in the wake of unsubscribing...

Recently, two of my characters have had the biggest lost for them ever, same time, heart attack. I was almost crying when I found out.

It is really emotionally painful when someone close in Cantr dies.
Why?
Well.. there are several solid reasons..
- Permadeath... you or your character will never see them again
- You'll lose contact with that person, it's highly unlikely to meet them in the forums
- The feeling of missing out on all the fun you had together
- The loss of the relationship you had
etc

Totally agree with that...

It was a pleasure playing with you all here. I left the game abruptly and lost many that had become close to mine ingame without any kind of closure. Although saying that to roleplay a closure after so many years playing with some would have broke my heart more.
But just a few here were little crackers in the game that made my world here colourful. So my goodbye there to your characters. Stone Knight Innit, SK Iolitha Jung, Bertie, Adrian, Diana, Tad, Crag, Cherri, Maximus, Golda, Saroo, Kyle , Saladin... So many Stone Knights, i could spout them all but i'd just bore you with names. Yes, i'm one of these sad people that can't remember what i had for dinner the night before in real, but my characters knew the exchange rate of most resourses at the drop of a hat, how to build vehicles and radio's in my sleep plus all the needed resourses and never forgot a trade or face or what town that was in and what they talked about to the near exact time. Dammit i hated being one who loves details, so thats why the game was so addictive to me.
Farewell to Oorpii such a special loved char, Seargeant Wiliam aswell, Commander bill, Tirasu, Davies, Andrew, Sauron, Darcy. Farewell to Gus Muss, mine adored Gus. And yes i finally completed my characters first ever trade for Drewno in polish, and I was pretty happy to get that accomplished finally due to the lack of help the slownick note gives, but it was a base to start the learning on.
Farewell to the beloved Teddy Bear, Cleannis, Sara(she may not of liked Trinity so much in the last days, but it was her wedding that my character saw that was the first for me to see ingame and never forgotten)Calvin, Kraus, Jeppi, Tuong, Suzie, Archie, Laird Loki, Malachi, Augustas, Lucy (gone ages but never forgotten)Same with Knight Ben Dover and Arch Knight Sean. Gwen, Willy and Jedd. Belthus, Shepard, Red linnet, Argenta, Lilly, shezza. And so many in the Gardens that made me chuckle so.
Lord Harris MacGregor, Snape MacGregor, Roger, Lady Elizabeth, Makior MacGregor,( and wow, he turned from a character not really knowing a thing about the world, to a mulitcolooured story teller, such a very good talent brewing there, and what i so enjoyed seeing as players got hooked ingame with a little patience and helping along the way)My own help and addiction to the game came from Lord Gregor MacGregor, (who scared the living life from me as a player on meeting)the delicious Lord Angus MacGregor, Jennie MacGregor, Tim MacGregor, Ghost MacGregor and Glen Morangie,Captain Seven MacGregor(.And many more that had a written style you could only dream about)Joram Traske, Harrison. Governor Dobb's, Carina Faux(Mine started off really not liking that char, but finally ended up very much liking that character who not only moved but sketched with grace), William and the lovely Clara. Cotton, Ari, Lily, Dolly. And who could forget the many Rangers, Ranger Rhiannon, Guardian Locke with his wife Eve. I take with me my memories of the good old Lady Lassie mine had become and end that with a Locke song.
Out of my song, I may sing a line
Borrowed from a good ol’ friend of mine
But I do not think he shall ever mind—
Heavy on heart, souls shimmer and shine
To the voice of this ol’ friend of mine
Shut from the world like his poet kind
Tickle, twinkle, touch life in thy spine
As once did to me, ol’ friend of mine
Since it is you who must seek and find
A kindled breath as to ring divine
And singing sweet embers into wine
Unsurpassed in time or any bind
So smile awhile, as I sing this line
This one is for you, ol’ friend of mine.
My farewell to Lucy & Ron Tang, Patterson, Natan , Seth, Christine in Kwor and many more. I had so much fun in the Blackrock saga while it was in full swing many by very good imaginative players. Loved every battle that took place, they got beat by the allied army, but Captain Andur and Coco were so well played and tough characters plus many more, they deserved the winning in all it's glory.
Which leads me onto Captain Andre another great player. But i'll miss Abby, Donovan. Adrian, lysander The beloved Ptolomy and Captain pirahna.
Yes your probably bored by now reading, but i didn't just have one, i had fifteen creations all with passionate and busy, busy lives.
Farewell to Mark Malag, Rikku, Eleanor. Goldenmoon, Bessie and Chauncey and Omi. Goodbye to Garganash, The beloved Dakota Fenning. My favorite and personal character mystic of the mountains Satrap the Synic(a true litarary star. So enjoyed the roleplay with that char), Trine, Vlad, Laura and Gregg, and the cute but never forgotten Moxey, Agar and and many more there mine loved freely and sometimes charged along the way Haha. What can i say they all need to make a living at times.
Farewell to Geroge Maxwell, the beloved Marshall, Conner, Ben, Robert, Emily, Elhikrain, Dunce,Clara.
I'm sure there is many more i'd like to name and say thankyou for the pleasure playing with you along the years, but you all know who you are. My best wishes to you all...
Ps. My family.. especially my son now blames all you and hates that i'm not playing at Cantr still as i've been cooking to keep me from bordom. So they have had to endure homemade mince pies and sausage rolls, which you eat while hot or risk breaking teeth on. And now i'm banned from the wii and xbox 360 by my own son because i tried taking it over to keep me busy, yet i so kicked arse on Halo online gold. Yes, see you've turned my house into chaos at the X mas time.

Blimey, even with my various breaks that reads like a Who's Who of Cantr in game. I know an awful lot of those names either from this account or previous ones... I wouldn't even remember the names of my old characters but I couldn't forget some of those significant characters.
Good luck MakeBeliever.

I have to tell you it was quite challenging to convince you to stay, partly because I felt very hypocritical doing so. It was an honor and a privilege to have quite a few characters that influenced you (and influenced by you, too!), and I know of one in particular who is happy to have yours back.
For her, they ought play outlawed tunes on outlawed pipes.
P.S. Keep in touch. Also, you should try Call of Duty 4 and/or Oblivion on Xbox 360
All the best in life to you
