Computer Crashes and Swan Songs, the end of my charries

Yeah, I worked hard on my new computer, but I got it running a day late, my account got closed just before I got it up and running. Words fail to convey how frustrated this makes me. My old one just up and quit a few weeks ago, and then I had to be away, delaying the building of a new, superior machine. (the old one was deemed not worth the time and effort to fix, and it would have taken longer)

My apologies to those who knew my charries, I didn't want it to end like this. For those who wish to know, I played:

Cranell (my first charrie, with a bad case of wanderlust, from Jakara, to Siom, to crewing the Damnation of the Sea, to Omeo, to Olip Forest, he had a time)

Steven Marks (He never was quite the same after Megan died, all his hopes and dreams, even a bit of his soul, he invested in her, and as such a part of him died with her, and now he's gone to join her)

Derek Miston (a Praetorian in Blojt's armed forces, he deeply loved and supported Libby Lockharte, he'd have done anything for her sake (one of my personal favorite charries))

Michael Handel (reformed crazyman who ran from brink's forest screaming about THEM (sure he annoyed a few people in his exodus :P) He was later adopted by McKayla, who straightened his head out (for the most part))

Frank, a councillor of Kwor (He died before this, I forgot to restock him on food before leaving for personal issues, came back to find him dead >.>)

Dunce McGee (he loved nothing more than to help Tiffany, simple minded, but with a heart of gold)

A man known only as Ugh (he lived in Aki Wood Camp, he never really understood spoken words, nor could he really speak beyond primal grunting, a wildman I truly enjoyed playing)

Grik Mastin (an industrious and hard working man with a heavy accent, he always dreamed of making his own brickworks, but now that dream is gone with him. He also had a thing for Leiane, though he never said anything of it. He lived alone on an island found by Mandingo and himself since before 1950, awaiting Mandingo's return and stockpiling resources)

Jeremy Sawyer (A man who lived in Shai, and had dreams to collect some of every resource there was, he built a boat with Kairi Hikadu to this end, whom he later developed feelings for, and planned to ask her to marry him someday)

Nicholas Meren (A man of Kiii, a bit rough around the edges, but good natured, he lent help where he could. He loved Jean Jetty with all his heart, but couldn't get the nerve to ask her to be his bride)

Matthias Blackwind (Arguably my favorite charrie, and one of the two I'd bring back if I could (the other being Derek Miston). He died a Baron of San D'Oria, but originally planned to rob the place blind or even kill the Queen if he could. Those plans changed when he met Kiyoko Ubari, whom he later fell in love with, and eventually became fiercely loyal to her, Queen Nora, and Baron Lyle. He was engaged to Kiyoko, and planned to push to have their marriage early (that's when my comp died). His love for Kiyoko was absolute, something I didn't really intend to happen to him when I made the charrie, but I was pleasantly surprised with how he turned out via the influence of other charries. His mean streak never fully left him though, as a few unfortunate criminals found out behind the prison doors. The loss of him and Derek hit me hard)

Hermit (no relation to Hermi on the forums, I made the char before I was aware of her existence >.>. Never comfortable with crowds, he was a wanderer, who again unintended by me, fell in love. He had a bit of a rollercoaster relationship with Susan Riley, and at one point had some of his hair go gray, and some white, because of a mistake he made that he'd always regret. Traveled many places with her after they rejoined.)

Twitch Silver (Spawned in Siom, an insane man with multiple personalities, Breanne took to caring for him, and became the only person he fully trusted, Man Animal later gaining his trust as well. I honestly wasn't ready for him to die, he was in the middle of an episode that I'll regretfully never be able to play out.)

That's all of them, and some background. At this point in time, I have no plans to return, I'm coming and going all the time and my charries suffered for it towards the end, then paid the ultimate price when combined with a computer crash.

Maybe I'll come back when my life is tamer and easier to manage, I'll at least try to stop by the IRC more often.

Special apologies to the players of these characters:

Libby Lockharte
McKayla Handel
Smithwick
Christine Blogg
Lady Raven
Tiffany Feather
Clara Myler
Nora (or better known by Ugh as "Ish'uh")
Leiane
Kairi Hikadu
Jean Jetty
Jaina Hunter (can't remember her new last name)
Kiyoko Ubari
Nora King
Susan Riley
Breanne Thomas

I hope my charries were able to make your experience more enjoyable, especially to the players of the above characters, I'm terribly sorry for inadvertantly cutting their lives short, and sorry for the bereaving of the above charries.

Usually I've never met any chars named in these sort of posts but I knew 2 here.
Frank could have been a good councillor, and it's a pity his earlier promise got hit by the sleeping sickness.
And Stephen Marks. My char there had much sympathy for him and gave him some food recently, trying to get him to come out and face the world.
Pity you couldn't have made use of the leave function.

Spazz!!

You left Kairi desolate and alone and she will miss Jeremy dearly! She has spent the past year making food and doing anything she could to get you back...

And Clara will miss you as well.

I am so sorry that this happened to you. I know how it feels, the same thing happened with my first account.

I really hope you do come back and that my girls will run into you again.

I will miss you!!! :(

It's a shame that you timed out. It might have been hard to pick up on things after a long while of sleeping, though.

On another note, your Human-Age character also seems to be dying. The picture is rather dramatic.

I played with five of your characters. A giant pity your account timed out.

Thats surprising, normally I know at least one of the characters when posts like this are made. Anyway, sorry to see you go. It seems a lot of dedicated players are leaving lately.

Ugh... What terrible timing! I hope you decide to play again. I enjoyed interacting with some of your chars.
