Anyone ever experience things happening in the game only to have them not be in the events log the next time you access that character?

I haven't experienced anything like that, but sometimes when I log in and check out a character, I see an event that previously wasn't there. And not a new event, but I mean that something appears in between of previous events like:

After I log out the first time, the first three events are like so:
a woman in her thirties says: -----
you see a woman in her thirties entering the central area of Y coming from Z
a man in his twenties says: -----

then when I come back the second time, theres some new event called A
but then there's an event popped in between that wasn't there previously:
A
a woman in her thirties says: -----
you see a woman in her thirties entering the central area of Y coming from Z
you see a man in his twenties leaving the central area of Y entering S
a man in his twenties says: -----

If you hide the events and someone speaks while you're doing it you won't see what they said because it will hide with the old messages. Used to be that you would. I wish they would fix that.

Or sometimes, alchohol is involved and you get your characters confused.

yes, i have the same experience, very frustrating if you finally have a place to collect wood for your boat...
