I am just wondering why the Russian region does not take off. We have many Russian applications, but they usually stay around for a day or two and leave, they never talk, and when they do, it's not always in Russian. There are still no noted, buildings, whatever. Anyone any idea how come? Any Russian players on the forum? Any suggestions how to tackle this? I would like to play actively myself there, but my Russian is very crappy ...

Starting troubles I'd guess. When my first char spawned in Sil there was a lady who explained the rules and RP'd what this game was about. 
I guess the Russians have to start from scratch, they have no idea what it's about, all they see is some text and since nothing is happening there they'll loose interest I guess.
Are there russians playing in the english area?
Oh, and maybe it'd be a good idea to put a note in every russian location explaining the game since there's no experienced player to guide them. (or so it seems). Too bad.
Hmmm. How about a flash intro as a quick guide? Explaining the buttons and the general idea of RPing. Samanthe, you know the FLashythingie and I know you like playing around with it.
