Cantr Awards I - Treefeather

Postby CantrFreak » Sun Aug 05, 2007 1:01 pm

Ok, first of all, there are categories in vote, vote for any region you wish in Treefeather. After this is over, I might begin the Cantr Isle Regional Awards.

Mods, could I get the permission to create a thread for Cantr Isle like this if this gets too cluttered?

If a category is bolded, you could choose a city if you want. (reason: Since sometimes, it may only be secluded to one city in the island)

Most Politically Active:
Most Cultured:
Most Rich History:
Most Military Activist:
Most Wealthy:
Most Poor:
Most Annoying:
Most Valuable Resources:
Most Organized:

---

MY VOTE:

Most Politically Active: Doryiskom
Most Cultured: Krif-Drojf-Seatown Region
Most Rich History: Krif-Drojf-Seatown Region
Most Military Activist: Unable
Most Wealthy: Krif Hills North (unsure)
Most Poor: Pok Desert Region
Most Annoying: Doryiskom
Most Valuable Resources: Doryiskom and surrounding areas
Most Organized: Akypor Forest South

Edit: Its not a competition anymore. Just fill out what you think.

Most Politically Active: -
Most Cultured: -
Most Rich History: K-Region of course! And nearby islands.
Most Military Activist: K-Region or the Sjoftich area (for godssake, think of Ginger Empire, Barons, Starlyn's army, that other army, House of Gregor or what ever it is - all compacted into a tiny space)
Most Wealthy: Any town with hematite.. or hematite and coal/limestone
Most Poor: Newly colonised locations (Pok has oil, soon to be a very powerful region)
Most Annoying: The Plaekur forests...
Most Valuable Resources: Sjoftich Hills North!!! Right next door to Hematite, and also home to Limestone and Coal!!! (and rice!)
Most Organized: Definitely anywhere in the Empire. They have deputies for civilian affairs for crying out loud! :P
Nakranoth's "evil" character says:
"Thief! That's terrible! *shakes his head* That would hurt people's feeling if I did that."

I find this really hard to choose on because there are a few organisations on the Treefeather which all fall under those categories.Unless you have characters in those area's your not really going to know of their strength's to give a fair view of the whole island.

Most Politcally Active: Krif hills North MacGregor, droif, midwest Union towns, plus Stone Knights so Olipifirovash regions.

Most cultured.: Again the MacGregors and midwest union towns. And again highly the Stone Knights regions in Olip.

Most Military: is ditto to the same regions again as the cultured.

Most Rich History: From my characters view and history collector as a player. The MacGregors, Droif, Midwest Union towns, again Stone Knights in Olipifirovash.

Most wealthy: Now thats hard to assume wealth, in resourses or people? Both are worth their weight in wealth. So for my experience playing would be the MacGregors, The Stone Knights, Seatown Gardens, Seatown forest.

Most poor: Have no idea, poor as in resourses or people?. So undecided on that one.

Most annoying: Quite a few towns, but all for their own reasons so can't really chose one definate for sure.

Most Valuable: Again, depends on what you value, good healthy lively people or plain old resourses. So again undecided. Unless a quick guesstimate of resourse, transport wealth The MacGregors and the Stone knights would or could be classed as wealthy. But main transport wealth would have to go to Akypour i imagine for the hundreds of free bikes available there but sadly lacking in the people department, it's like a lost atlantis there, where did all the people go?, they must have been thriving there at one point in history.

Most organised: Again from my view of where my chars can valuate from experience. MacGregors Kriff Hills North, Stone Knights Olipifirovash forest. Seatown Gardens.
No one can make you feel inferior without your consent and Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect. It means you have decided to look beyond the imperfections.

Rich/Poor usually refer to wealth.

It says Most Valuable Resource.

I've seen most of the Treefeather Isle so I musta missed that. I've played for a year... so... and most of you've been playing longer so I'd think you've... anyway. Out of your experiences.

(Krif-Drojf-Seatown regions are pretty much gonna win everything... -_-)

(I don't understand some of the questions here. What's politically active to be considered? Discussing politics or actively pursuing betterment of their government (IE taking over, recruting new states etc?)

Most Politically Active:
Most Cultured: KHN/MacGregors
Most Rich History: Krif/Drojf ...Blojt too.
Most Military Activist:
Most Wealthy: Akypor (Someone asked what happened there? I don't recall that there's ever been a structure there to keep people interested. Even the people who built all those bikes and the bus were a pretty sleepy and docile group, rarely seeming interested in politics but growth.) Blojt I'd mention too.
Most Poor: Krif or Drojf
Most Annoying: Doryiskom. That place, I can't decide if I love it or hate it. I love it because I see it for what it could be, hate it because I see it for what it is and unfortunately always will be.
Most Valuable Resources: Seatown Forest, they have a lump of good resources in one spot and the perfect government to keep everyone else from benefitting from those resources unless they're a kiss ass. Kudos! (Or used to. Haven't been there in a long time)
Most Organized: KHN-MacGregors
I hate people.

A place where they deal with politics a lot.

Yea... Doryiskom, has great potential... but the people in charge... -_-

Bah, I've barely got anyone in the Treafeather island. But I'm sure the Stone Knights, the MacGregors and maybe even some of those seaside towns around the Longinanzy area should be included in some of those categories. However, I wouldn't have a clue anymore, I only have one character on the Treafeather island.

I'd say

Most politically active: no damn idea
Most cultured: Hills of the Mac Gregors
Most rich history: Hard to make a choice, I'd say Krif/Drojf region or then Olip forest
Most military activist: Does this mean warring or just toting weapons? Let's say Olip forest
Most wealthy: Olip forest again, lots of motorbikes. Mac Gregors and Seatown hills are pretty wealthy too.
Most poor: Pok desert
Most annoying: Doryiskom
Most valuable resources: Seatown forest
Most organized: Used to be Seatown forest, I might say Akypor now because it must require good organizing to produce that many bikes.

I think you're all bordering on CRB and should consider abandoning this thread *smiles and shrugs apologetically*

Well people could avoid Doryiskom if they hear it's annoying, or they might be biassed to think that it's annoying even though it might only be annoying to some (numerous!) people. Also someone might plan to raid a town if they read that it's wealthy, or go settle in a town with good resources. But there's a lot of information like this in other topics too. I don't think the stuff in this topic is any more blatant than all the other stuff here. It's up to the players not to abuse the knowledge they gain on the forums and besides these "awards" are based on people's opinions, they're not cold hard facts. Like one person might consider 2/3 iron making resources more valuable than 8+ other resources, another person might think the other way around. And the island is widely known so no secret information is being revealed. It would be different if we took for example Omeo, I bet many people would start drooling if they heard the resources in some locations on that island.
