The Rangers do exist, they are spread out though as has been said. The older members have interesting histories as well, such as Anderton Cale fleeing Craktar, battling the SJs, serving as commander in the second or third Krif Empire, deposing that emperor, then hiding out when Maynard resurfaced, and now essentially being second in the Rangers. It'll be a great organization if it ever does actually get organized. The cool part about the area is that even the "good" guys have dark sides or pasts.

You still believe there good guys in the KDS region?

I HAD at least 1 'good guy' in the KDS region.

I think my Ranger Character is a good guy, but I guess I'm subjective.

Unless they are holding back on me, the DoUrden Mercenary Company is no more than a strong regional government at this point. I sincerely hope that ~4 people with crossbows are no match for Lad.

Incidentally, are they really mercenaries at all? Noone seems to be hiring them.

And curse all you people with interesting histories for not sharing them with the curious. My character practically fled in disgust because he got almost no historical information over the course of five years.

Your char didn't return the first batch of info given, so your char didn't get the next batch, or the next, or the next, etc., etc.

I could see 4 people with crossbows and a vehicle do hit and run attacks and gurilla warfare all over Lad... heh.
