Do you think it's realistic to be able to see someone through a stone or wood door?
I'll explain later.

It's a plain door, with no little windows or spaces between the wood/stone?
Since I have no ideia what I would be answering to, you will have to be a bit more specific...

I bet it's about dragging notes, and I agree. The people on the other side of the door should not be able to identify the dragger. But if it's something bigger than a note, the door needs to be opened prior to dragging and then you can see the dragger.

Correct, no windows, no creaks between the sides, no peeping under the door as it's low to the ground, perhaps a little sound might get through but no visual stimulus is available.
The answer is obvious, I just want to get a few peeople answering the obvious.

Seko's hit the nail on the head.
One of my slaver characters wants to play with the slave's mind, and can't. He wants to drag a note in saying 'Oh is there anyone in there? I'm a traveller' but obviously can't becasue it says who is dragging it in.
Let's say your little brother or sister are having a party. You close and lock your door, but can hear them outside being annoying. A group of them drag a note under the door saying 'U a dum stupid head!'... Honestly, are you instantly going to know who dragged it under BEFORE even reading it?

It ain't that obvious. What are Cantrian doors like? They may be solid catflaps, and unlocked, someone could push a pile of stuff through without being seen... except from the knees down, perhaps.

You can't drag items under the door unless it's unlocked or you have the key. So the crack must be very small. Therefor you should not be able to identify the dragger.

I bet Santa could!

And in reality the slave could find out if it's really a traveler by shouting and listening if the voice shouting back is similar to the pirates'. So you only want reality where it's useful for you

Who actually knows what kind of doors exists in Cantr.
Ummm... No one.
But if Cantr´s doors are like RL doors, you can´t see the dragger. And everyone says that there is no magical forces in Cantr.

Different doesn't mean magical forces are what make it different.

Yes. If you don´t count magical doors and X-ray spells...

Maybe it's just me, but my first thought was: How is it possible to have a stone door?
Btw, I agree that a dragger should not be viewable by someone on the other side of a door. Unless, there's a window. But, I thought it was already like that ("You see Something being dragged to WhereYouAre from SomeWhere")

Oh I think I understand. (sarcasm here). As you drag your note through the door, your character also pokes his head round the door.
"Heyyyyy! Iiiiiiits meeee!!!!!!!!!"
Then later he/she is like:
"Oh shit, why the hell do I keep doing that?"

Has it changed then? Last time I saw a note dragged, there were no names given.
I saw a suggestion saying that you should see who dragged it - IF you were on the same side of the door as the dragger.
Have we managed to change it now so you can see the dragger on both sides? If so, that seems pretty daft. The most sensible solution to me is the one suggested - that you can see who dragged the note if you're the same side of the door - in the same area - as them.
