I as a player have no preference ^^ I do not have any presence within the world of cantr, other than an occasional voice screaming inside my chars' heads (who is almost always ignored..sigh)

*smack* Yes you do. Your characters may not have a preference as they are where they are. Or they might have moved. And if I asked where most of your characters like to be we could just get Jos to make a histogram.
A better question might have been how many people are in the place where your favorite character is. But that isn't really the point. Your favorite character is your favorite and probally has none to do with how many people are there. Unless of course you the only one there and there it really great stuff.

I put 16. With less, the place is boring. With more there's usually a fairly established hierarchy in place already that's hard to break into. At about 16, if you have an active character you can get involved and if you want, find a place of importance where your character will be respected and have some influence.

I am partial to 4. A good band size.

"Should I bury these bodies?"

"Is it bugging you?"

"No."

"Then why ask? If it was bugging me I would do it"
And that is only with two. The other two would chime in at some point.

I don't let my preferences decide where my characters go or stay. It is pretty much up to the character. Some would rather not see very many people and others would like to see people and others don't really care either way. So it really depends on the character and not myself.

Right but which do you prefer. Not that you move characters to it.

What I prefer in real life is to live in the wilderness where I grew up and currently live. Is that what you are asking?
Personally, the wilderness is beautiful and you can pretty much live off the wilderness while cities are ugly and you can't really live off of granite, cement, iron, and steel. A little to hard to chew.

For me it depends on the quality of the people. If you have a crowded town with people who are mean, or people who don't talk, then I'd rather have a small active, nice town. *shrugs*

2 people is still at zero...
It is pretty awkward after the first few days...
1 other is not an audience?
