Well as far as populated continents go. I'm not counting new islands or unpopulated islands but you are correct as far as that goes. But Knatr is on one of the first populated continents.
But you have to think as to why it is unpopulated. It is surrounded by the largest known desert thus far in Cantr and then surrounded by a pretty big mountains range full of deadly goats, hawks, and snakes. Those who survived the awesome trek across the desert. That is about a 3 month travel period. Then you have to get through the mountains which are filled by rampaging animals that have gone unchecked due to there being no real population to hunt them.
Plus, it is bordered by two of the most unfriendly regions in Cantr; the Alexian Empire on one end and the Siom on the other end.
Those that make it to Knatr are probably a lucky few. And once you are in Knatr, there is usually no leaving as my character found out.

I had a character come all the way in and out of the Alexian Empire, changed his name about three times and made his was through that HELL OF A LONG TRIP ACCROSS THE FORSAKEN DESERTS, attacked several times but protected by his iron shield (a must). He came in search of the rumored Gold, Diamonds and Iron, and is still in the Mountains right now. Its one hell of a journey, but this guy's determined, I don't exactly recommend taking the trip if I were you. I believe he's nearing K Mts SW.

Wow it would be neat to go there... I have a character that left Naron awhile ago, that is trying to find the Sea Farers right now... hmm..

Don't forget the capital rule, guys - don't have your characters travel to Knatr now because it sounds so interesting on the forum!

The Seafarers are in the opposite direction of Knatr, David. That and I'm unsure whether or not they exist anymore. Sester has been trying to track them down for awhile and has only found their notes and DoUrden Estates came upon where they lived and only found empty buildings and boats. It seems as if they just simply disappeared into thin air. But someone keeps running around placing their notes on the ground. Very weird those Seafarers are.

wow. That's so cool. I have a char who lives on a boat, but he's basically the only one he knows of.

I have a char that used to be a Seafarer. She saw the founder die, and the only other ones she knows of left in a boat.
