Welcome back, I recently returned to the game a few months ago.

I was Xander on the forums but I think I deleted my account on here (I made an account on the forum long before coming back to the game itself).

Thanks again. . Things are really different. A town that was once massive and active stood abandoned while I was there.. clans that I once knew, now seem to be totally obliterated. If anyone would like a private convo on what happened, I'd be happy to talk.

I'm so glad you're back! I came back recently too. Actually enjoying it this time again.

Would be interesting for a character to go around and recording an in-game history for one of the remaining occupied libraries.

That was done for the preparation for Klojt university on day 5000.

The problem was that the location of collection was not well documented and you ended up with a stack of unrelated documents that were impossible to retrace when they were found in a certain city or building you could try to trace the names and events to some memories or names from that town. In the end it did more to destroy history than preserve it... note could say that "jimmy loves Mary". Well thats nice...but where? Maybe Jimmy was the leader of a town that was great at the time and pivotal to the events in the area...which area?

The result of this was that Jimmy and Mary faded into the elusive history of (probably) the EZ...but we dont know where within those "continents". I would go so far as to say that much history was destroyed in the build up for the day 5000 festival. The hopes of those who sought to preserve history in the game were demolished then. The best way to do it now, is to hit up the players for stories from their personal memories, and many of those players have moved on and cantr is just a faded memory.

If you want some history preserved, document it now and start some new stories. Good luck!
