Cantr II Discussion Forum

I have too much stuff to do IRL to carry on so its goodbye.

I loved the game, and although you can play for just a few minutes a day you really need to spend hours to have charries that ar'nt just sleepers.

So its;
Your character Del Barkbiter died.
Your character Adam Cloud died.
Your character Frit Mahler died.
Your character Trend miyl died.
Your character Grimly Haste died.
Your character Bognor Regis died.

Thanks to you all.

The only one I knew was Bognor Regis, and I thought that a wonderful name. I might copy the idea: Stoke Poges, Melton Mowbrey etc.
Good luck.

Always sad to see someone go, I wish I had known some of your characters.

A couple of mine will miss Del Barkbiter very much

I knew Del, but hadnt seen him in a long time anyway

Yes, if I could have just kept one it would have been Del. He took on a life of his own and hes been in my thoughts every single day for the past year and a half! He had so many plans and great potential, he was aiming for a renaissance for Cantr and he could have pulled it off too!
Sorry this was so abrupt.
I've built up a load of material for Del, he was writing a "book of the Barkbiters", I'll try and rewrite some of it so that it doesn't break the capital rule and submit it to the zine. I had some stuff for a "note" tutorial for making pretty self formating notes using tables that I'll try and cobble together for the forum.

Thank to Jos for a unique game and thanks to you guys for making it fun!

Renaissance? Hmm... might be similar to the Nationalist Movement.

I did'nt know any of your characters but good luck too you. Maybe you'll be able to come back later.

RIP Frit... But then I don't even know it yet... ah well.

Not Del!! Noooo!!! *cries*

As a player, I'll miss Del. Two of my favourite characters (possibly three) have met him.

Can one of you guys PM with what the big deal with Del?
