Sick of poor RP'ers?

I don't care about the decline in players. It's only the newspawn thieves that leave, okay- the ones that aren't newspawn thieves, are the survivors who stole.


So this thread is in honour of poor RP'ers who just annoy you.

Here is one case, where my character, can't say who, can't say why, has decided to enact vengeance upon an old friend who HE thinks, enslaved him, when really, it was the opposite.

Here is his reaction:
(remember to read bottom-up for these)

1886-7.22: You see friend leaving Plaekur Forest South, taking sand road to Akypor Mountains (west).

1886-7.22: friend says: "OOC:omg this is gay"

1886-6.08: You say: "*he takes another slash* I remember you, hurting me..! Being oh-so cruel! Today the murdered people you killed, are freed! Their souls are freed!"

I was in shock...
then on the road, moments later..

1887-2.22: friend says: "OOC:making up a fake story to rp is a pretty gay move. mind you cantr isnt an rp for the sake of rp. its a civilization experiment and running around killing each other for shit that you make up is pointless as hell and unproductive. all my character does is gets wood hunts animals and live up on the mountain and your gonna be a fag about it all."

1887-1.06: You ate 60 grams of your baked potatoes.

1886-7.27: You say: "*he chases him onto the road* I knew you were the crazy one. Blabbering about Ook or something.."

He tries saving his skin by reasoning OOCly!
What do you guys think of that?

Thankfully, I haven't run across anything like that to add to this thread, though.

I don't seem to find a log for it but that so called "massage artist" around Zhift region, one of my characters once paid her for services and they rp'd going behind a building for privacy, yet she kept whispering to other people while supposedly giving my poor fella some private attention. And you know what too, in the end she said OOC that she has to go out of town for a week(!) but could you wait so we can continue when she comes back? XD And I felt like no way missey. So I just paid her and told her OOC that let's just imagine that we did it to save both of our time. I mean if you can't even pretend to be interested in your customer then you might want to consider another job. *shakes head*

Nice comeback, but wouldnt resorting to your own OOC comments just influence him to continue? Just kill off his char and be done with it

Wow, that guy deffinatly does not have enough imagination to be playing an actual RPG... maybe he should try taking up simcity instead. As much as I hate lossing a good charie, there's no better RP then being lied to and murdered.

Responding to the stuff makes you just as bad IMO. Irritating as it may be to have someone making ooc comments to you, as I very well know this myself..... take the high road, report and just keep playing your char as it's supposed to be.

"Public Embarrassment" is not the way to deal with in game issues. This should be handled through pd, not discussed on open forums. In the future please report things such as this and pd will handle the situation. Locking this thread.
