Is there anyway anyone could set that up? I've love to talk to other Cantrians on microphones.

I would definitely use it. I'm all for it, if someone will get it set up...I don't know nothin about all that, so I couldn't do it myself, or I would.

Some Cantrians used to have a room on PalTalk. Not sure if they still do though...

I'm not really going to use it if it was made. My voice sounds horrible (Slightly squeaky with no decernable accent), but go ahead.

I probably wouldn't, but I'm not much of a talker. If I were talking to someone online, I'd rather it be one on one with someone I know pretty well via MSN or something. I wouldn't be able to pay attention to too many voices, either. A little intimidating for me, I think.

But it would be kinda cool to hear hermi's voice. or sunnis. or randi's. or whichta. Or el mutant bug.. person. or ME!

I would use it, i use vent every day for wow and talking to friends.

I could probably set one up on my server; I'd have to check with Dreamhost. But I have bandwidth to burn.

I have never used TS, but I only have a mic half the time, and if its anything like the irc channel, it would be dead far too much of the time.

Dreamhost don't like chat programs - its explicitly mentioned in their TOS - they do however support the Jabber Instant Messenger which I understand can be used set up chatrooms with voice - but don't quote me on that

Yeah, people wouldn't be on it all the time--you'd probably have to let people know you'll be getting on it via the IRC.

It's a good idea, I voted no, but it's a good idea.
People like buddyhall wouldn't exist in that world of near-realism. (ie next closest thing is face-to-face)
