If arrows are to be introduced, I think that bows should do quite a bit more damage.

maybe different type's of arrow's that do a different percentage of damage.
all wood do say 50%
wood with stone/bone tips do 60%
wood and iron tips do 75%
wood with stel do 100%

alla damage dependant on the bow of course with a more powerful bow doing more but dependant o the arrow for total damage

(this assumes cantr cars run on gasoline although that's questionable. since cantr cars defy the laws of physics, you could make a gun powered by the same mysterious forces.)

Why will we never have flying cars IRL?

The power to lift a large object like that is alot of energy. A flying bomb really. As we were taught about airliners.

Flying cars will have to wait until some method is discovered that does not use energy to conteract gravity directly. Science fiction stuff.

You can't hand out that much energy to everyone even if it was available. That would be like handing out portable nuclear device is Cantr. Damn anti-matter restrictions in Shring-Sri. I hate them.

I like this idea

I was also thinking maybe a system that leaves attacks unresolved till one login to it and responds of course with a time limit as to not end up with a stallmate cause that person doesn't login anytime soon ie:

log out

You have been attacked by man in his twenties you have 24hr to respond.

login

You defend against man in his twenties.

you attack man in his twenties.

etc etc

actually now that I look at it it does seem kinda stupid. Might work better if someone figures out how to better apply it.

What about lynching mechanisms? Use them like dragging, but it takes more people. The victem dies instantly.
Some examples:
Impalement stake
Gallows (finally a real use for hemp)
um... Crushing device? Pile 20000g of stone on them?

The problem is, there has to be some reason you can't do this to an entire army. Maybe if it takes an hour or two between starting the project and killing the target.

Someone suggested only being able to attack so many poeple a turn, or hour, so maybe if we can only atack 3 people an hour that would help balance things further. A person would have to move like lightning to attack everyone in town like Cantr poeple can do at the moement.

I really like the idea of only being able to attack 3 people per turn...because it's ridiculous how it is. I don't know if the Blaman incident is 4 days old...if it is...can someone verify..i'd like to talk about how the mess started. >.<

I prefer a stamina thing...just reducing attacks to a fixed number is just going to irritate me and I'll attack all of YOU O_O Different weapons should deplete stamina differently, like a warhammer-High damage *30?*, low chance of hitting *60%?*, and high stamina depletion (so that you have only 2 possible hits per hour?) And then you have the crossbow which you can fire more often, but has a limit to the number of bolts that can be fired (reloading time) And then you have a spear, medium attack, low stamina reduction.

Okay, I'm just blabbing on what I think to be a good idea but it probably sounds like crap so I'll shut up now kthx.

that sounds like a good idea.

Until fatigue is introduced the number of attacks an hour could be affected instead

V Child! V Child! I say go with the childs ideas, it is most excellent and appears to be more favourable, nice, simple and do able. I'd chant some more but you know...*gestures randomly*...how it is....*collapses*

but there would have to be some way to kill people in 1 hit then...cuz it would just be to hard if it was the same damage system we have now, only u had a stamina limit...
