My other one will probably be going soon, too. I think I'm going to take a break from the game for a while, especially after everything that happened with En. I might be back. It's hard to say.

Did she starve?

Yup. Pretty pathetic end.

I'd like to say that she wasn't purposefully starved, even if she may have felt that way. Unfortunately the only character that she was visible to seemed to have gone into a deep sleep without anyone realising... And others had forgotten to check in. It was accidental, because the intention was certainly for her death to only ever be by heart attack at whatever point you got fed up. The downside for her of being so vocal about wanting to be executed if not being released!

I think all that had access but didn't check in would offer you their apologies as a player, but few characters there were upset that En died. Having En incarcerated caused the town a whole heap of drama that you may not have been aware of, thanks to a certain couple of characters...

In real history, if great heroes and villains were not killed in battle, they often died to trivial accidents.

I just wanted to send out an apology to those some of my characters left behind when they died... I have been dealing with anxiety a lot lately and it had been affecting my playing to the point that I had so many characters that were just sitting and doing nothing because of it. I had to trim down my list some to even get to where I felt like playing any more. So to those who interacted with mine on a normal/semi-normal basis, I am very sorry...
Here's the list:

Tobias (Klojt)
Cole Fisher (San D'Oria)
Markus Gale (Tircqi)
Nikolas (Ogrod)
Darcy Swann (Eldorado)

One was easy to let go. Most were not. I'm sorry, y'all.

Well, this is probably my last farewell here for some time. Account inactivity crept up on me and unfortunely a bunch of chars won't get a proper end. Sorry to those around them, and good luck out there fellow Cantrians!

Most of the ones that made it to the end, I think:

Revel, Zap, Sylor, Rowan...more but what's the point!

*waves*

This one made me wanna cry! I absolutely adored him and his crazy stories with Zayne! Those two are the reason I decided to stick around there! He will definitely be missed :(

I'd never have guessed that Revel, Sylor, and Rowan were played by the same player! All excellent roleplay.

I knew 4 out of 4 ... 2 were more than just names. Great job!

I knew some, I'm sorry about losing them.

I met one of these and thought they were a pleasure to RP with, if only briefly. I hope you feel better soon.

Here goes nothing.

  • Winnie Grubsworth. Certified psychic.
  • Dr. Zavrashia. Professional nudist.
  • Trevor / Traveller. Bit of an oddball.
  • Scott Dawson. Definitely a sailor. Sort of.
  • Nine others died namelessly, or may as well have.

None of these lived particularly long, nor achieved any particular feats. I'm posting mainly to draw the attention of those I've interacted with and thank them for their efforts. The game really isn't for me anymore. It lacks the greater driving force of scarcity and frontier exploration it once had, the overarching plots, grand goals, and culture. I hate to say that nearly every character I spawned could be summed up like this:

"Welcome, there's hardly any laws, don't kill, clothes and food are in the barrel. Sort the rest out yourself."

Zavrashia was hilarious. Although my char was disgusted by him, I felt quite entertained.

Yes! He was a ball to interact with. Sad he went out like he did, but also somehow fitting for him!
