Alright, my one and only character I named and modeled after my favourite character of the old days. Upon spawning, I proceeded to act as the old character would have, basically he is a reincarnation in a different location. In the location where I spawned, the first person I talked to was of the same sex as the original character's lover. Not only that, it was controlled by the same player who the original character interacted with. Fate or what? I can't give away which player I created again, in case someone remembers who and what he represented. The coincidence therefore goes even deeper than discussed here, but you get the gist.

Really not sure how I feel about this...

Could you not have chosen a different name?

Does it make a difference? Its still the same set of odd coincidences.

Regardless, it's a grey area to reincarnate characters..

Whats wrong with it? I happen to know that every character who used to know him is dead. And what harm can it do? And there is no way you can be angry at me for making two characters with the same personality, its not like they are going to do the same things in life.

You HAD to tell the world about it

I believe it's considered somewhat of a CRB to create two chars (even ages later) with the same name and similar personality. Using the same name over again is discouraged, regardless of whether the personality is completely different or not.

Ugggg. Too late now, but I won't repeat any more names. In any case, look at the irony!

Well I for one thought it was amusing. This is a game afterall, its not that much to get worked up over.
