The post is a word-for-word copy of a post on the AV program's support forums - Google can find it for you.

I would be most interested in an answer to Sparkles question.
Perhaps they were trying to get around the limitations of a first post? (eg no linking)

Bots post random things on mutliple forum sites so people will look at their profiles and see urls and advertising. Usually they'll post the exact same thing under the exact same name everywhere they go. Thus you can Google them and find that information.

In this case it seems he's promoting Kaspersky 6.0, probably some web browser..

The puzzle here is that this bot's profile contains no obvious advertising. And the post Google turns up is genuine - the user gets an answer and replies.
Kaspersky is a pretty decent antivirus program - not a Trojan or spyware like most spam-promoted software.

Yea, another thing that confused me on it when I was checking was that I couldn't get any hits on Google for the name.
