I started playing Cantr II in November of 2002, which is 13 months ago. It's amazing to me that so much time has passed.

Right now, I have 13 characters, and some of them are more actively involved than others.

Cantr II is a very open ended game. The situations that occur are completely up to the interaction between characters and their individual and collective goals in life. I think it is very interesting to play in such a dynamic, unpredictable world.

My friend TJ Nelson referred me to the game.

For a while, I would routinely use all of my minutes. However, I have been much busier with work lately, and I don't even get close to using them all.

I keep an eye on the General Discussion forum. Most of my time on the forum is spent in the Administration area.

I am satisfied that the Cantr II Forum provides a very nice venue for the players of Cantr II to meet outside of the game and discuss things. It has also proven enormously effective for the staff members to increase their organization and productivity.

I live in Seattle, Washington (USA). I was born near here. This is Pacific Standard Time.

I have donated money to Cantr.

I am 19.

I am studying business at the University of Washington. I also work full time as a shift manager at World Wrapps, a trend-setting ethnic restaurant.

I am already a staff member. ;)

1. I started playing in May or June of 2002, but was somewhat inactive from Dec 2002 to April 2003 because I was moving around and trying to find a decent place to stay.

2. When I first started I played with 20, eventually cut that down to 5, and now I'm back up to 10 or 11.

3. Cantr never ends, most games I can either beat or get bored with in just a week or so, but there's no end to Cantr unless Jos decides to end it.

4. I found out about Cantr by looking for another free online game one of my friends told me about, I found it that game and didn't like it, but I stumbled across Cantr the same day.

5. I'm on anywhere from 10 min on those days I can't play and just check in on my chars to make sure no one is being killed, but on the days I have time to actally sit down and play I normally use about 100-120 min.

6. I'm not sure what changes I would make, but once I've got the time to be active in resources again and go over everything good I'm sure I'll think of something.

7. About every other day depending on my time alotment.

8. Again, on days I have time I spend a few minutes looking over the posts on the forum, but mostly just to keep up with what's going on, I'm not much for idle talk and normally only post in respond to specific questions or if the conversation is about something that one of my chars is involved in.

9. It just looks nice and is easy to look through.

10. United States, Florida

11. Eastern Standard Time

12. I only play in english.

13. Yes, my website has info and links to Cantr, I did have bumperstickers on my old car, I've done some work in the advertisement department.

14. Yes, depending on what it was.

15. I have donated and will again in the future.

16. 26

17. Not currently in school, but I've been trying to get a grant to continue my education, I'm currently working as a cabinet builder, but make "rotations" into the restraunt business as a cook/kitchen manager. I was also a CNA for more then 2 years and have done work in all fields of construction other then electrical.

18. Time allowing I would.

19. I'm in the resources and advertisement departments, although I've been inactive for the last several months due to time restrictions, basically I've just been working my butt off putting in about 50+ hours a week all this year, I worked 8 months worth of 6 and 7 day weeks, needless to say, this doesn't leave time for much else.

1. Since approximately december of 2001, I started turn 60ish I think, before violence, weapons, and most tools.

2. Up until a year ago, I usually played with 3-5, but now I have the full 15 most of the time.

3. Its an interesting, dynamic world controlled by the players. It is fascinating as a social experiment.

4. I was doing a google search for online rpgs and found cantr II on some listing.

5. It varies with my work schedule, but I usually use between 50 and 100 minutes.

6. I'd like to revamp the combat system, increase interactivity of animals including taming and dragging, and also methods of interaction between vessels on sea and lakes, such as attacking with bows, boarding and so on.

7. Two or three times a day usually, or whenever I am bored.

8. A few times week I post, sometimes more often in the staff forum.

9. It is a nice, smooth method to interact with other players.

10. USA

11. Pacific

12. I have one spanish character though it is not too terribly exciting.

13. I occassionally mention it to friends, but many of my IRL friends are not net addicts.

14. It depends on the product, but probably not.

15. I probably should, I'll see about it after this phone shutoff notice.

16. 22

17. Sort of, just finished a term at community college, probably will skip a term then go back in spring to continue on a biotech degree. I also work at Blockbuster video.

18. Probably not, the forum is enough for me.

19. I had applied for a resources position some time ago, but Cosmo recieved it instead. I was given a resources position shortly thereafter though by Jos when we discussed animals in the IRC room. I am now on Resources and mainly deal with animals, and more recently, clothing.
