That's impressive, I had no idea steel was made that long on a day-to-day basis.

But angle irons and steel meshes make my job a lot easier (the alternative is lifting 4' to 12' cinder block lintels or mixing more concrete (obviously with help on the larger ones) which aren't even as strong as metal lintel subsitutes but weigh a lot more. I'm sure without products like yours my back would +10 years older than what it should be instead of +2. It pretty much looks like the set on the movie, but in T2 the characters were probably acting like they were in places that are behind protective shield IRL.

I'd have to say that almost everyone who plays Cantr for any length of time has something in common, I figured that out a while ago from all the conversations that I've had with the longtime players. I noticed that alot of you all play MUD's, but I didn't even know what they where until started playing Cantr, I was a big fan of AD&D until a few years ago when I no longer had the time to mess with it or the patience to deal with some of the people that you inadvertantly run into when playing it, and to me Cantr is very similiar to AD&D as far as the RPing goes. But one thing I have also noticed is that "stupid" people don't like Cantr, and I would be surprised if anyone who played for more then a week has a IQ of less then 110 or so, Cantr isn't for people who can't think, plan, or organize things. And if you are wondering, I'm a cook/cabinet builder (depending on what I'm bored with at any given time) that reads on average two books a week, my IQ is about 126, based on the 3 times I took the IQ test at emode.com.

Well, I have been playing Cantr for quite a while (many of my characters are in their fifties) and I don't seem to have many of those interests. Cantr is the only RPG I have ever played (I came across it while searching for other types of games). I don't know any programming languages, don't have much of an interest in history, and don't have much of an interest in political science. I do, however, have an IQ of about 120.

I like to cook, too. But to do so, I have to tear myself away from Cantr.

I'm after doing that emode IQ test, 128. That's the second one I'v done, the first one I got 126, so i'm guessing their both close enough to being right.

And I only cook when I have to, which is getting increasingly regularly.

I did both the classical and the super IQ tests and got quite different response from each, still my IQ is in the region of 105-120. I'm rather pleased but then again I think that sort of thing is a load of phooey. Unless you go take a proper one, under proper conditions, with proper people testing you it remains phooey.

I don't believe in IQ as the measure of someone or how smart they are. But that is just my opinion. We are all good in something, we all can't be good at everything, and we all can't at one thing. I personally believe in mastering the things you love and at least knowing the basics of the rest.

I agree with up there ^^^ someone could really good at someone (for instance being able to cook really well) and not have a high IQ, but I would still consider them a genius, in there own right...

"Divide by zero error" on the emode test. I guess that would be on the low side.

IQ's are based on math knowledge, logic skills, and english. And of course, Camino is right, I took the Emode test as well, and although that may give a ballpark figure of your IQ, its not accurate unless you are tested properly. Of course, last time I took a real IQ test I got 170, but I was young, and not to brag but quite smart for my age. I havent gotten stupider, its just that my knowledge has increased less than my age, therefore bringing down my IQ.

At any rate, RKL, there are some tests that test all the "seven intellilgences" which include interpersonal, personal, physical, logical,.... and i forget the rest not even sure if those ones are real ones. There are a load of different intelligence theories etc, but generally IQ is a generrally accepted test.

The emode test I got a 129. I'm happy with it, although I think my poor math knowledge brought me down. I'm more of an english/logic person.

Although, I've been told logic isn't my strong suite either.

Math is a direct application of logic uder a few basic postulates.
