Putting the dynamic name between braces if it matches sign one would accomplish it being identifyable at a glance. I just don't want to have to open up the name change dialogue every time I wanted to know weather the sign listed was a second one, or it's "real name".

As I said before, I don't look at these things much but:
On the machines-to-build page:

They are not - but can be broken or removed and the decaying beyond use message more or less explains what happens to them when they are successfully broken

Ohh, okay. Thanks for the clarification. Never been inside something that the lock was broken on; always on the outside breaking it. :D lol Or something like that.

No - just prayers and keeping your fingers crossed , hoping that the gods of the random number generator cause the characters on the other side of the door to fail in their task
