Problem is, that here, it's not really seeming even though it says so. They are above or below average, etc. It would be different if it might just say "they seem ___" but they really weren't always what it said they seemed.

I agree - Before this was implemented I thought of how it could be inaccurate but that relied on tracking and storing each characters perceptions of other characters as well as the actual value - a lot of overhead for a small feature

I can see some argument for making it visible only to the player of that character - easy to do as well - Yes in general you can fuzzily gauge relative strengths by looking at people IRL - but as it's such a key statistic in combat having some factors hidden may be better - sometimes cantrians can have too much info - So I've turned this feature off for viewing other characters.

Sucks, doesn't it?

Strength is actually not something that can be accurately perceived by others -- I've encountered quite a few people who looked delicate and weak, and turned out to be buff and mighty.

But since it's been turned off, I really have no complaints on the subject any longer. :)

Does anybody else remember "He seems strong, is in his twenties, and is wearing nothing worth mentioning"?

I don't see a problem with "He seems weaker than average".

It's blue for me, and certainly has me curflumaxed. Some buildings and vehicles have it, and some don't. Saving the name doesn't create it. And it doesn't go by age of building.

If you have ever edited the building or vehicle name... you get the blue/grey signage indicator

It is signage

Every building and vehicle now have 1 sign (which they have had for the past month or so) . This 1st sign is used as the default name of the building/vehicle . If that name is different from the dynamic name you have given the building/vehicle then the dynamic name is used for the location name and the original sign is displayed in blue below the name.

They can also be seen on the dynamic naming of location page , where you can reset the dynamic name to the sign name if you want to .

Very soon you will be able to add additional signs, remove signs, change the wording of signs and change the display order of signs on a particular building/vehicle as long as you have the correct tools. The 1st or top sign will always be used as the default name of a building unless you have dynamically renamed it.

An example with more than one sign per building is as follows

This applies to all vehicles and all buildings including interior rooms etc

Google is really bright, you know. It's almost scary. At the top of this page it came up with:

Signs Signage Signmaking
Vinyl Printed banners neon fascias A Boards engraving plaques perspex
[web site omitted by me]

Anyhow, I thought that might give RD some ideas.

Can we get it so that the first sign is a diffrent color from the others so we can tell at a glance if we dynamically changed the name, or if it just has extra signs.

That would look ugly :) ... Would there be other ways? E.g. the name between [ ] if it is a sign, also for the first one? Maybe someone has another idea that doesn't make the page look like a traffic light? :)

No - all naming infomation is already being displayed using this method - it doesn't have to be complicated further

If you want to know more about then the information is already available on the location renaming page since it lists the current name you know the location as and lists all signs - even if the dynamic name is the same as the first sign.

EDIT Sociologist - not so bright ... all I get is "Are you A true Christian", "God is Love" "PKG the True Church" :)
