He wears nothing worth mentioning.

Heheh. That should calm some of the nakedness hysteria. I like it.

If I understand it well we're no longer naked, we 're just wearing nothing worth mentioning (whatever that can be). Actually better as the demand in fur (even to make a loincloth) vastly exceeds the availability of furry creatures.
Perhaps we should in hill regions some 50-100 rabbits roaming, in forests raccoons. Stronger agressive animals everywhere, except in spawning locations.

As I stated before, I built a cotton gin, twiner, and spindle in a town that had a cotton crop. Now the cotton is gone and hemp is there. Looks like I am stuck making hemp coats and tunics instead of toga's and cotton trousers.

Resource Department wanted to make clothing types and resources to be more regional instead of being cluttered together. So some islands will have only hemp and others only cotton. Clothing types from animals will also be somewhat regional but not as strict. And some other clothing types might be will be even rarer then those just mentioned.

Just an unlucky draw that the place you were at was changed to hemp instead of kept to cotton. But don't fear, there are ways to get cotton still. You'll just have to find some way to get it from another location that has cotton or access to cotton.

And furthermore, Once Solfius gets working on clothing after the holiday season, I'm sure that you will see more sets of clothing other than the ones we have now. So just be patient. There are still bugs with clothing that are being worked out as well so not everything is quite perfect yet.

I'm also on clothing now, so I've been doing some tinkering here and there. Any ideas are welcome.

Solfius is working on clothing :p

Just needs a little reminder sometimes to get round to it ;)

Check the "Suggestions for new clothing types" thread in Suggestions for ideas on new stuff to put in.

Things change and we must adapt, not a problem. Atleast some of the machines already built help in processing hemp into hemp cloth...
except there are bugs in my machine. It seems I need wool to make hemp cloth. As we tinker and fix the bugs in clothing, shall I move my comments to "bug report" thread or continue the clothing discussions here?

So long as we find out there is a problem, it doesn't matter too much.

The error is corrected now, has it solved the problem?

If you havent noticed, its impossible to make pretty much any piece of clothing without steel. I think the only one u can make is some underwear. Check my rant post for further detail.

The fact that people fail to roleplay the whole naked thing (I mean they were naked before that is what their society is like), is really beginning to irritate me. Saying things like 'Ahh, I'm naked, I'm so embarrassed...' So - everyone else is naked, so what's the problem? ROLEPLAY DAMMIT!!

Ahem... Anyway, the clothes are cool, and it really shows up those who don't really role-play...
