AAARGHHH (or: anyone wants to write an article?)

I just spent about an hour trying to write a nice article about Cantr on EzinePrime. Cantr can use some publicity, however minor. I was quite happy with the contents, but when I clicked on 'submit', it reverted to the login screen, and then gave me the empty article screen again. And of course I forgot that I had planned to copy my article to Notepad before pressing submit  ...

Since I hate retracing my own words, I won't, but if anyone feels like writing a nice article about Cantr ... make sure it contains links to Cantr, of course, and please do it only if you're reasonably good at writing articles ;). Better than me, preferably ;) ...

ummm.

Cantr is a rocking awesome game. It is, simply put, a sociaty simulater. You get put into this other world, and you try to simulate a sociaty. It is a verry addictave game.

It also helps with spelling and grammer problems, if taken over a long period of time.

(Disclaimer:personal results may varry)

Let's all contribute a few words and sentences perhaps?

Cantr simulates a theoretical society in a medi-eval setting with some elements of modernity to make for interesting production. Such modern elements include the technology leap between, say, a small wooden cart used by a small town with limestone (a key ingrediant to produce iron) to a town with plenty of valuable resources that trades using a Car or a Van.

That's one, definately could be fixed, and another could focus on something like,

Cantr is also run entirely by players, in the game-world and out of the game world. In-game, there is no Non-player-characters (NPC's) besides for the animals. This means, the player can rule a town, lead a blood-thirsty army or pirate crew, explore the world in car or Galleon, be a small farmer married to another farmer, be a iron-fist Queen or King of a nation or be a prominent business owner- and more.

My few words: There are plenty of good roleplayers around and you can have realistc ingame relationships wtih emotions involved, not just earthly gains. But if you feel like being alone instead, there are plenty of empty locations, and the seas, where you can spend your days in silence, concentrating on your private plans. Your character's friends will always be there, not only when their players are online, and you can talk to them while they're "sleeping", and they can reply to you when you're offline. Also if someone leaves town, if you're active enough, you can follow them. Your material gains are visible to others and always take hard work to manufacture/gather (wether that's your work, or the work of your subordinate or someone who died and you got it from). So it's not like some chatroom where a person could just write up having a big sword and others would have to just play along. If you want a big sword, you're gonna have to work for it.
