Busy, busy, busy..

Postby DylPickle » Fri Sep 15, 2006 1:49 am

So I signed in today, for the first time in a week now, and finaly admited to myself that I don't have enough time for cantr.

School, followed by 2 hours of football and another 2 hours of hockey every night leaves me barely enough time to get all my schoolwork done.

I figured graduating is a bit better than running certain towns.

Dunno what'll happen to my chars, but I won't be playing again until things slow down a bit.

I'll be back ;)

Lates.

No. The Canadian weekend has been abolished since the January 12th Crisis of 2004.

Nothing on the twelth. I just made it up. Sorry.

It's very kind of you to ask, though.

But this happened not so long ago.

Schme's close enough, in my books.

My weekends are just as packed, as it's the only time I can work and see my girlfriend. I don't even have enough time for her during the weeks anymore *shrug*

I'd say that's more important than a video game, if you ask me.

What I meant when I posted, "Weekends still exist?" is that in today's world (especially in North America) we pack our schedules all full of crap and don't leave ourselves any time to be human anymore. Our hobbies become enormously involved time sinks until we have absolutely no escape from work or responsibility and then it only leaves....exhaustion and depression.

I want to go back to Finland. The Finns had a lot of great aspects about life balanced out. North America sucks.

But what about our God given and protected right to be wasteful, decadent, greedy and entirely self serving? What about the wonderfully convenient access to lovely lovely contraband intoxicants? The favoritism of the aristocratic class? The Justice for Sale?

And our soap opera like politics?

Admit it, you'd miss us.

You make a good point, though. I agree with you.

I was getting behind in my school work (and my grades weren't doing to good) so my dad made a schedule for me that allows very little free computer time so I'm going to stop playing Cantr for now (maybe I'll be able to start again once I catch up or in the summer...), Bye.

NOOO!!!

Guys, it may seem like a lot of people are leaving but honestly I think it's normal- it's just that we're very close to our members and they announce when they leave, unlike other games where you barely notice people leaving..
