Nothing clever, just goodbye

So, after hanging out in chat last night and listening to Brandon call me a cunt and a douchbag for several hours, I'm trying to remember why I do anything outside the game at all. I've decided that all this stuff outside the game, isn't really worth it.
Maybe I need a thicker skin. All these insults, the flames, much like the ones this thread will produce, all the rudeness, all that is to be expected in any internet game, right? I mean, there's a flame war thread here. Flaming is sanctioned. There's no way to stop it. Even in Chat, Hermi was there, and kicked mtm21 for saying cunt, but didn't kick Brandon for calling me a cunt ... still can't figure that out. It just seems like if you're going to play a game on the internet, you're supposed to be this troll that expects other trolls to come and slap you with thier dicks and ever one is down with that, because that's what everyone is doing, it's the status quo.
I don't think it should be.
In fact, MOST of the people here are nice, and intelligent. I like chatting, it kills time at work, I've made friends there, helped some people out. I might have even done some good! Oh my gosh! How'd that happen?
But, you take twenty people who are mature and polite, just add one guy who's going to curse and rant, makes every statement an attack, targeting a few people, just to get a reaction, and let them go unchecked; well that's going to drive the good people away, at least from chat, for that time.
There's not even going to be any logs of it either. Brandon was right when he was mocking me when I'd thought to send all the abuse to someone here. It won't do any good. We can't ask anyone to do this kind of stuff professionally, or even with fairness. This is a voulenteer staff. There's two bots in chat recording everything, one from the guy that had four accounts working together in the russian area, and the other from the guy that still refuses to admit he was even warned before he was banned, much less knows why he's banned. People can be abusive all they want anywhere, and other people will defend them. It's what's expected.
Anyway. This is to let those few people who might care that I'm leaving the forums know that I'm not coming back to the forums. I've been seperating myself from the forums since I left staff, since that meant I didn't have to come here, and all there is anymore is polish spam on the boards here. I'm sure there's going to be stupid ideas voted on, and things are going to happen that will suck more fun out of the game, and it'll be my own fault for not knowimg about them because I don't check the boards anymore, but them's the breaks.
I do have a Yahoo messenger, so if you want to chat there, you can look me up. I don't expect a lot of responses.
The terrorists have won, and driven someone else away just so that can call people cunts and claim free speech.
