Cantr Chat Room

Postby rklenseth » Sat Dec 13, 2003 1:20 am

I know the forums have been flooded with what would be better to have on an instant messenger or chat room. So I set up a Cantr II Chat Room thing through Bravenet.com from my account. You can access from this site and the link will be at the top of the page; http://www.geocities.com/rklenseth/cantrwebring.html

I'll be on from time to time myself. All I ask that there be no harassing or excessive swearing. So have some common sense and don't misuse it. Plus it can be a place for a lot of Cantr players to hang out. It doesn't require you to sign. Just fill out your name and a profile before logging into the chat room.

Hope to see you there.

Damn Java. Cant get it installed on my machine. M$ has made no effort at all to make it easier for users to download it. I found it nevertheless and installed it, but it still doesnt work.

Keep trying. Did you try to enable Java under Tools in internet explorer. Then go to the Advanced tab and make sure that Java enabled and all of the others that have to do with Java have check marks next to them. That might be the problem.

Seems to be working nicely. I wonder if there is a limit to how many people can get on at one time.

All is enabled. Dl'd java again but XP refuses to recognize the program is there. Man, I hate XP.

edit: Ah. It was Getright that caused the problem... somehow. :?:

Still, I hate XP.

It's working on XP for me which is what I currently am using. Could be another program conflicting with the Java. I don't know but there might be others around here that can help you. Sorry, man.

Lol. I had to install XP 6 times before it ran like it should. Guess why I hate XP? Also, Somehow XP makes decisions of it's own. I hate that. Come and see the dents on my computer. My mousie took a nice beating to, since Bill wasn
t't around.

Seems to be working really well. I like it.

The only problem so far is that Pirate Lass broke the room so now there is always a Pirate Lass signed on.

Java not work? Hmm...

Flash chat room. On cantraddict.com. Would work for those Java-impaired machines, no? :)
