Suddenly I just realized it was 6 am. Now it's 9:27. I have an appointment at 11 and I suppose it will be easier to "wake up" this way but I'll have to take a nap after I get back. Otherwise I'll be awful.

I have sometimes thought, and almost said "brb" when I was leaving a room temporarily, or "lol" when I find something funny.

and I'm guilty of using 'lols' and 'brbs' in daily conversation as well.

The guy on the line was very much serious, he sounded pretty confused.
I also tend to say lol when I find something funny. I don't pronounce it el oh el, I say it like loll.
