1606-5.32: You see a man in his twenties slap a man in his twenties in the face.

1606-7.10: a man in his fourties says: "Why did you just slap yourself?"

1607-0.21: a man in his twenties says: "Just check my fighting skill, I haven't what name I'm goint to go, right now I'm unknown"

1607-0.24: a man in his twenties says: "May I check my fighting skill on you too?"

1607-1.03: a man in his twenties says: "yep, quite funny. I don't care (OOC: this character has served its purpose, kill him if you wish. I must find another who has better skills)"

I was looking for a 'bad roleplaying' thread, but found this one instead. It can be cleaned by a moderator.

Ok why not T-shirt, have you got any suggestions on skills maybe, like you might think the fact skills are shown leads to crappy players whose roleplay stinks.

My suggestion is to remove skills. Have players roleplay their character are good or bad at something.

No! Keep skills. Newspawns can always find a reason to bad rp.

Yay! that's me. :D

I don't think I have ever met a good roleplayer on cantr. Although there supposedly are, I have yet to see that. I've seen roleplayers who are a bit better then beginners..but never moderate or advanced roleplayers. I myself am a moderate/advance roleplayer, however I don't rp on this site because no one else really does..

I have to agree! I have quickly noticed that if you spawn with low strength or poor fighting skills you are doomed before you start. You can roleplay all you like but you don't have the muscke to back it up you are lost!

I myself am moderately/extremely up my own arse, however I don't show it on on this site much because no one else really does..

And pitifully true.

Which reminds me, watch Dead Poets Society, damn you, and stop conforming by not RPing cause others don't!! :P ;) If someone didn't take responsibility somewhere in history, sometime, someplace, somwhere, something would be real screwed up.

Why didn't he just say; "i am god's gift to roleplaying, but i'm such a poor liar that i can't show you because then i'll be made to look bad and no one will kiss my butt anymore"

That's the more polite version, HF. ;)
