I know it's hard, but surely now is a time to think about your next favourite character?
Surely you've had an idea that you've wanted to explore for a while? Now would be a great time to spawn a new guy and try it out

I dunno, to be honest I focused most of my time playing cantr on that character. He was my first and I cant see myself starting from scratch. Nothing against cantr im not doing one of those "the games this and this so I quit" the game is really good just I probably played it wrong by kinda only playing one character to their fun potential. meh.

I found it hard starting again, but give it a try and a few days to settle into your new environment and I'm sure you'll start to enjoy it.

I know how you feel. I am starting from scratch. But, already, I have two or three characters that are as interesting as a character that I played for months.
I bet you'd have fun if you started a couple new ones. RP a character that people wouldn't normally roleplay. Think of something bland or boring, then see how many ways you can turn it to something exciting.

Eh, most of you know who my favorite character was.
Keep playing, find another character to become the next great.

I've lost my three active characters over the last three months.
And they were my only active ones - the other three I had were sleepers, unimportant, in dull areas, doing dull things.
I know it's hard, I've been finding it really hard - especially when I lost my last character - for whom I spent loads of time outside the game painstakingly compiling a map of uncharted areas, using in-game images.
I have three new newspawns now. None of them have spoken yet - I'm not sure I can really be bothered - so I know how you feel.
I'm planning to stick around a couple of weeks, see if I can pick what I have left of characters up - I'd suggest you hang around, you might find you'll get back into the game.

Cantr isn't about material wealth. It's about:
a) Roleplaying
b) Adding to the brilliant exciting story that ever grows
c) Dieing for RP purposes to make a good story.
I learnt that recently. It took time but I learnt it. Now when my character dies, I don't mind, because 1) people generally RP during and around my character's deaths, which is a lot of fun, and 2) I know sometimes it'll contribute to the story.
If your character was as important as you say he was, then this should be understandable.

What the hell are you harping on a bout now, I know you hate me but what has that got to do with anything? ...my favourite character died, therefore my motivation for playing cantr has been seriously messed up, end of.
