Kind of like when you go to the grocery store and see that a favorite item of yours is now, new and improved.
You know it's going to suck, before you even try it.
If it's a bug just say so.
If this is a game change, I don't get it. I know Cantr isn't life, but eating 8 days worth of food in one day is a bit extreme.
And all of the "Oh I'm feeling faint" role-playing is just annoying. IMO

I had two characters that felt faint and then proceeded to pig out. One character carried on normal activities, while the other tried two different remedies. Both characters were sick for the exact same number of days.
Meanwhile, one of the remedies my character tried has been touted in game as the cure, but maybe there isn’t a cure.
Maybe it’s just a like a 24-hour virus: you get it, you get sick, you get better.

Some of my chars felt faint, then overate...others overate for a day or so, THEN felt faint, its like "duh no wonder you int feeling too well, you ate half your own bodyweight in food!"
Think this is supposed to teach our charries to share food out nicely and not hoard it to themselves - hence i dub it "Greed Syndrome"

Lying in the depths of your imagination, worlds above and worlds below, you can tell a man from what he has to say

If this theory is indeed correct, the lesson taught, "share your food and don't hold too much at one time" is actually teaching the player, you must be awake everyday to pick up the appropriate amount of food or else you will eat all you have. I doubt the programmers would think that is a good idea.
