"y'all" also sometimes spelled as "ya'll" is an informal plural for "you." Plenty of languages other than English have similar words, but our best version is slang. It's just silly to use "y'all" to refer to only one person, yet I see it all the time by people who do not use or hear the word on a daily basis.

Fun fact: there's a small restaurant in the town I graduated in. Its name is the "Y'all Come Back Cafe." It has two signs. One is spelled that way, the other as the "Ya'll Come Back Cafe."

Member Q makes a post saying I like Townville, there's good people there though I dont know why Susie doesnt like my character George. I think she just has a bad attitude toward men. All the while knowing that George tried to rape Susie 10 years ago in game and the person that plays Susie either didnt see the post or doesnt want to out their character.

To me this is borders on CRB because you have someone trying to influence in game events and opinions in an OOC manner. People and cities get reputations via the forum when they shouldn't.

Actually, it is the other way around. The person doing the posting is not potentially committing a CRB, but the person using said knowledge found on the forum is by using OOC information to influence their character(s).


That is like blaming the people who write on the Wiki for the people who use elements of it that shouldn't be used in game.

I see your point CDLS. Players shouldnt let what they read on the forum influence their characters, but l I think at times people may be tempted to use the forum to influence other players and that shouldnt happen either. Not a big deal I suppose so long as no one acts on it. It was just something that was annoying me the other day

I sort of wish that people would recognize my characters so that I could talk about things OOC, but at the same time I'm afraid to reveal all of their identities. Not sure why, it's not like I had ever had any trouble from revealing who I play, but I just don't feel like writing a whole list of revelations that anybody could read. I've drawn all of them on deviantart, though, so people who know them might recognize them, at least if they see them the same way I do.

I love to talk OOCly about things in game but so hard to do especially when I try not to reveal my charries. I have two that I have revealed to a couple and its always in the back of my mind just to kill them off for that sole reason lol.

This is the red pill... even part of this can severely effect your opinion of the game as a whole, it's players and the way things work. Be warned by another now jaded.. The grass is -always- greener on the other side!
