If you think 10 privates is a lot, then my military organisational structures are insanely low on higher ranks, but i'd have to concede they are hideously oversized

Well there are a number of others who could do the same but the regional politics keep shifting so tomorrow is always different. The only constants so far is that Piers Anthony is still the leader of Alenz Hills, Sester Gartaf is still the Commander of the Imperial Guard of the Alexian Empire, and Robert Smith is still the leader of DoUrden Estates. Other than that everything has changed.

Yeah when i first started playing, all my char had a name theme, from a certain time in history that not everyone studies or remembers... but it seemed to infringe on the CR, and i ran outta those names that I just made em up...

Stealing off living chracters is bad but staling off dead ones is OK espically if it is near where the dead character used to be. I think my parent borrowed the name David from somewhere but I can't be sure. Part of the name should be different. Different spelling, different lastname.

I've been wanting to rename some of my new chars after my old chars for a while..especially the lesser-known ones from the early days...I'd really like another Chase Kiros...

or an RTS Zheng on an island where he wouldn't have been rememberd.

Did I say island? He was onlyknown in Drojf, and that was almost 10 years ago.

Perssonally I think it's really bad form to rip off the name of a char that you didn't play yourself (and worse yet to keep using the same name over and over for your own chars), unless it's to deceive others in some way, and within the boundries of the CR.
