You're a she? Wow, and I thought you were a guy... maybe because the first character of yours I met was a guy, so I just assumed...

Anyway, back on topic, it should be noted that at least for clothing, a listing site is used instead of the category (although the category is accessible as well), so the list needs to be updated manually when a new item is added. Also clothing descriptions have not been convoyed so they need to be added manually. I'll try to take care of that sector but if someone gets there first then go ahead.

Should this go on the wiki? Surley we should leave something to the individual players to figure out.

In my opinion you commit an error. I can prove it.

The rule is pretty straightforward, as mentioned on the Wiki itself. If it requires mentioning town names or character names, it is not allowed. So presenting costs of an object in terms of time it takes to produce goods, that's fine for the wiki, but once you start including travelling times for particular towns, you're out of line.

I just made a very large leap from liking the wiki to hating it. :(

My trader characters have spent hours figuring stuff like this out, and if it can just be posted, what's the point of playing traders anymore? If everyone knows the production costs, everyone will know how much I'm jacking my prices, and hence my trade is ruined. I'm all for posting raw numbers, but I'm against manipulating them in any way. Just my irritated thoughts.

It doesn't necessarily destroy trade, it just takes something away from the player. My ambivalence to the Wiki has turned more and more to dislike. I guess I need to find time to put more info that I would like to see in there (regarding roleplaying, the spirit and concept of the game, international emotes page, etc) to help balance all out the purely mechanical / game strategy info.

Can we just change the name of it from the Cantr Wiki to the Cantr Cheat-Code Emporium?

What you just posted matches most of the info in the Wiki. If we delte yours we should delete half the wiki. Don't sweat it Mykey.

I think it's a good thing to have it included.

There are types out there who will work this out themselves. People who do not have the time or energy to do this, should not be at a disadvantage.
The wiki, to me, makes Cantr more equal, in that older players/players with more time are not at an advantage.

What is crap, is that time-worth can be worked out so precisely, and is universal. This is a fatal flaw in Cantr. Resource collection rates should vary much more significantly.
Until this is changed, then we might as well all get anal about exact 'costs' in time, rather than a dedicated few being able to work it out precisely.
Whoever you vote for.

The government wins.

There's no reason to delete this from the forums, or even feel very guilty about it - it's common knowledge (anyone could compute it - I've done a lot of these calculations myself), though obscure. In fact it could be posted on the wiki, and I would not stop that - it's not against any rules. In any case adding or removing anything of significance is a bit above what I feel up to doing in the wiki at this present time.
