"Maps? Pfft, who needs maps?!"

"Wow, all these women around here have such small breasts and no curves."

"I've never met a mute before."

"I'm just gonna build a stone extension in this mud hut."

"Oh no! *he cries as the bottle falls to the ground and shatters*"

"It would probably be considered very rude if I just arrive/spawn in this town and start gathering hematite/diamonds/wood/tin for years and years on end, refusing to ever say my name or read the laws or respond to the people around me, not because I really need 15,000 grams of this thing that I could get much faster by asking the people who live here, but because I enjoy making people uncomfortable in their own towns. Yes, that would be rude of me, I won't do that..."

or alternately

"Wow, this forest has so many trees! Rather than start a 5-year long project to gather a bunch of wood, maybe I should ask if there's something useful I could be doing to earn it instead, since it's obvious these people have tons and tons of wood and I can try to contribute to the community that I'm taking from rather than just take and take and then leave."

One of my characters isn't smart enough to voice this, but she HATES this. People keep visiting to collect [name of resource redacted], which they have tons and tons and tons of stored. The town doesn't need it, either. She keeps asking people to work on projects and just earn the resource instead, but only about 25-50% ever take up the offer..... which bugs her silly.

I guess, to keep on topic:

I kind of want to see a character with a complex like this or something. It would be hilarious xD

But that's not a breakfast food at all! Why don't we eat something more conventional to start our day off, hm?

Hahhaha hear you there, there are ones filling themselves with wood and stone then they can't even be fed. Some set a project with many repeats then they fall asleep. They die after a while from hunger. :?

As far as gathering materials until you starve I'll admit I did this twice with characters I didnt want to play. My reason is instead of just running off and starving. I gathered large amounts of resources that were difficult to gather so that when my character did die they would drop 15k of a resource that was hard to gather that would benefit the town. Stone or sand is taking the easy way out. Do something productive if you are going to fill your inventory and starve. Make 15k worth of hay or gather apples or coconuts if something like that is available.

'Oh, a visitor in our godforsaken town! They probably have what we need, that we'd otherwise have to get from several islands over, so why don't I be polite and start with introducing myself instead of being a demanding, rude twit?'
