Riding animals is an awesome update. Many thanks to GreeK and the Resource Department for making it happen!

I forgot curtains existed! Saw them mentioned today in-game. I wonder how many have been built so far. Has anyone seen any in-game yet?

Seen couple curtain with nice descriptions but they don't seem to be quite common.

Haven't had a chance to make one yet, but I have a char who will eventually be making extensive use of them as tapestries.

When I implemented them I kind of expected them to revolutionise the way buildings looked. Instead, I've yet to see a single set of curtains in the entire game. Hopefully going to see more of them with all that interior decorating going on in the game lately.

I've seen curtains!
Some of mine will be making curtains themselves too...just got other things they need to get done first.

The problem with all interior decoration in Cantr is that your char has to be ridiculously wealthy with too much time on their hands to even consider it.

I bet the logs dissuades the most people from making curtains. It dissuaded the most of mine, anyway; I only had one character able to make them when three or four wanted them. I'm sure they'll all get them one day in the Cantrian-far future.

I'll see if Greek can produce some numbers and if they're really as rare as they seem to be, it might be worth reconsidering the materials. Perhaps, for example, the curtain rail can be assumed to be part of the building (which isn't that far-fetched, given how many different types of curtains there are). An alternative solution would be to use a small amount of raw wood.
Edit: this is actually rather an interesting subject, best reserved for the topic I just made.

In the horse update it said it would be hard to drag people off of horses...how hard are we talking here?

I would imagine it should be pretty hard? If you tried pulling a rider off a horse, the rider will struggle, causing the horse to panic and likely rear up, or run away from you. Might even try kicking you in real life. And even if the rider doesn't struggle, the horse could get spooked by you. All those aspects could lead to it being harder in Cantr to drag the rider off his/her horse. xD

In its panic, couldn't the horse also throw the rider?
Its -got- to be easier than dragging someone from a car right?
They are trying to maintain balance, and control the horse.

I think it's meant to be less about realism and more to do with the fact that you can't lock a horse.
The update said that it is harder to drag someone off a horse than just dragging them normally. But I'd like to know how much more so, so I know whether having my weakest char be an early adopter will just be slapping a big ol' target sign on their back or not.

A little bird told me we have domesticated horses now.
I greatly approve of this progress
Not quite a month away and I'm already wanting to come back, too bad my revision schedule says otherwise
I am crossing my fingers and saying 'not Treefeather' in preparation.
