Hi, I still play!

Artex. I've never felt so bad playing Cantr before. I think it takes some quality roleplaying to instill guilt in a player.

Wait, what? How did Artex instill guilt? :? All I knew him to instill was pain and fear.

A hell of a lot though, I admit...

Maybe we're talking about different Artexs. The Artex I'm referring to is pretty harmless.

[ramble]There was an Artex that decimated several towns off of a lake on Cantr island eons ago. Real brutal stuff, many dead, tortured, forced into slavery, some betrayals and melodrama, all that sort of thing.

I had a character on the periphery, in one of the victimized towns. My first-ever charrie, actually. About the only memorable thing I did was come up with the name Heartswater Hills for the place that used to be called Vraylnuetts Hills South or something like that. Heartswater doubling for blood and tears. The name used to make The Surly Cantrian want to vomit because it was so precious.[/ramble]

Yes, we are speaking of different Artex's. Saztronic that would be the one I remember, though I never really had the opportunity to rp with him, just the rest of the crew and the heartswater hills townspeople as well. I was the town traitor. Though it was murder, torture, slavery, it was some great rp on all sides. The pirates were vicious, the townspeople heroic, and the victims actually rp'd back as well. That has been some of the greatest rp I have seen in this game.

 I always wondered who came up with the name, but I don't believe I ever found out IG. It's scarily harsh.

I agree. Lucky me saw life as a prisoner and the aftermath, unfortunately with two different sets of eyes. That Heartswater goes on to this day despite all the damage it suffered is incredible, I put it down to the brilliance of Helga. :P I don't know what would have happened had she died all that time ago.

Pimlico Bennett and Templar Hexor Grant

Two wonderful characters and a pleasure to rp with.
