Whilst Cantr has been down, I have taken to wandering about the house a bit...

Not at all, I think everyone feels the same way at times. It's just how you go about dealing with it that dictates whether or not you have a problem... Like drinking them away

I haven't checked the forum in days, and I've noticed even forum activity is way down.

I agree. I'm worried about the number of players that will have said F' this and will die off from starvation. But honestly, I'll be most happy if two characters are still alive once the servers are live again. I could probably handle the rest getting killed off as long as those two other players are still active.

That forum activity diminishes is no surprise. Much of what people do in the forums is directly related to the game, so with no game, less posts.

I mean how many times can you write in the "What to do when Cantr is down" thread?

If you can't play, new suggestions doesn't pop up as easily, and so on.

And I'm using my second Facebook account (dedicated to my cat, yes, the one in my current avatar) to create images of my chars' friends and/or lovers to combine with my chars' images.

Does anybody think I might be a little crazy and possibly a bit obsessed?

True. But there are still one or two characters I'd rather people not know about.
Most people so far seem to know at least one of my chars, other than Snick. Most of them, though, are pretty isolated (physically and/or socially).
For example, I think Snick is my only semi-normal char socially and geographically.
My first char is travelling, but was rather quiet and reserved even when he was back home.
My second char hasn't been to her hometown in several Cantr-years, and I wonder whether they even remember her (I know some players do, as I've communicated with them) back there.
Snick is my third. She's pretty settled, although she has considered travelling.
My fourth char...I doubt more than five people in the entire game knows she exists, other than EchoMan.
My fifth sort of ran away from her spawnplace, and doesn't plan to return there. Maybe four people know I play her, the rest only know her, and that's all.
My sixth spends too much time gathering limestone to socialise.
And finally my seventh has only ever been two places in her life, and she's perfectly happy like that. I don't know how many people know I play her, but I'm not sure I really make it a secret....lol.


When Cantr is down.....I write fantasies in Cantr-style (except they're top-to-bottom 'cause I'm too lazy to flip it) of what might happen if two or more of my chars meet.
I actually have one of these that's five pages long saved in my phone. XD

I also enjoy discussing my chars far too much......

YOU'RE MESSING WITH MY CANTR WITHDRAWAL. If I want to draw it out by making images on another account of Cantr chars and combining those images using those two accounts, then why can't you let me? What harm is it doing to you? ><'
