Peanut's right, I was going to say that I doubt the first thing anyone thinks of when they here the "promised land" would be elves. It's ripped off from the bible.

And back on topic, this would be yert another island that I've never had a character on. I've got chars on the treefeather island, and the islands with Quillanoi, Sjoftich , Aki, and Omeo, I briefly had one on Kirinn or whatever it's called, and I've seen Sring-si on a map. How many others are there?

Also, considering all the explorers running around, a lot of the maps I've seen don't even have all the towns for one island listed, let alone even acknowledging the existence of the other ones. Isn't anyone making a good world map, or at least a more modern one of the Quillanoi or Sjoftich islands?

Treefeather's really the best map I've ever seen, btw. Whoever made that did a wonderful job. :)

Oh only a select few know how many islands there truly are, and I doubt any of us poor players will ever know the truth of it.

Oh, and about the Fu Put thing. I heard it called that in a major city and then repeated it with my character. Others did the same. Though the map said promised lands, I think it failed to catch on because that made it sound like a religious proclomation, but it's not one that the local religion acknowledges. Thus, it had no support save from the mapmaker, who was not around enough to make it stick.

Yeh, that and my character who has a personal issue with the mapmaker threw away every map on Fu titled with it and replaced them.
