I've always assumed the radios are either wind-up or solar powered. Also, the vaccuum tubes use wood, which is something I never encountered in rl, so maybe they have solid fuel heaters.

Or alternatively the radio battery could be something along the lines of

50g copper
50g zinc
240g potatoes

Radios have built-in annihilators. They just annihilate the air around them, and they have a little storage compartment for air, so they provide the illusion of requiring no fuel whatsoever.

A little project to encourage co-operation...
It's been established that Cantr is a torus, just the right shape for atomic fusion.
5000 workers, 1,000,000g alcohol, 100g rubies, (those are for the laser,) 400 days work hollowing out the planet.
Then there'd be unlimited energy and we can scrap this car fuel scheme.

Would this skill use digging? maybe mining because there is a lot of stone. also, where would all the resources go? Maybe we could build a mountian and it could be like a building and then we could scale the mountian to get to the moon and there could be like a whole new area but everyone dies who goes there but sshh because everyone thinks its a paradise and nobody wants to ever leave because all your hopes and dreams are fulfilled on the moon...

Oh, I've got an idea. Let's get some NPCs to send you on quests to kill monsters. Then let's make it 3D. Then we can remove all the various Role Play that keeps getting in the way of mechanics. Oh, and remember, quests should be in no way linked or form any sort of redeeming storyline with them. But they give you trinkets that you can trade for gold, which could then become the basis for trade with all NPCs so it'd actually become valuabe. But then, because NPCs actually need things for them to trade, all they'd ever really have is gold. Then you could kill them to get gold! We'd all be rich!

A potato juicer. 60 grams iron and a file. Half day project.
1000 grams and one day nets 700 grams potato juice.
Pour it into gas tank and off your cars goes using .01 grams juice per tick. 437.5 years worth of juice fuel per 1 day of work.
Did I mention potatoes are flamable? :D

And cow plows put onto the front of cars. Thieves could not get away. Run them down. Would have to name it thief plow.

I know, let's introduce a new metal to the game.

Let's make it not quite as good as the current ones, but let's make it require special materials from far off lands. Because rather than sticking with the better stuff they all know, characters will be desperate for this and it'll encourage trade!

Of course Cantr should be pay-to-play. Especially once we get the thermo-nuclear war system properly implemented.

I actually play a game like that, and pay subscription too..., but in no way should Cantr be like that!

Argh! Someone please tell me how to do the Nakranoth wrote thing! I remember doing it like a year ago.

Robots! 5000g Iron and some wires...maybe an engine for good measure and then you can create a new character which will be the robot!

Oh and all robots are experts at everything, are 10x stronger than normal people, don't need feeding (until fuel consumption comes in anyway), can't be hurt and don't get tired...and they travel faster than the fastest vehicles over sea or land aand they hit harder with a bare fist than anyone can with a crossbow, got metal handses after all!
