Well we're 8th now but I have noticed that we are the third most voted for site on the top fifty and we're 8th. I say that is pretty damn good considering 478 people are voting Cantr II at 5 most of the time. Plus we have 634 hits out from that site. I think one of these days we will hit the top 50 for sure.

More precisely, we are at 7th place with 490 total votes so far. A far smaller number of unique people will have voted. It does bother me, that the site's algorithm allows a site with only 11 votes of evaluation to be eligible to even enter the top 50 list. Surely a much larger representation with a slightly lower average ranking signifies a better game overall.

I've done a short calculation. We're currently at an average rating of 4.60782. I've set a goal of 4.71 for us. That would currently make us #1. At the moment, we have 500 votes.
Given that data, and assuming that I haven't included any errors in my calculation, we need 177 rate 5 votes to pass the 4.71 rating.
If malevolent minds rate Cantr lower, the amount dramatically increases.

Cantr has more votes in than 47 of the other listed sites.
Cantr has more hits out than 35 of the other listed sites.
I am considering writing a letter to the administrators of that site, asking them to consider whether their algorithm is robust and stable, and a good way to measure a site's popularity for their Top 50 list.

Alas, were nr. 14 now. Its those lame "few votes" sites... So damn easy, it's almost cheating. We should have a club of 20 ppl voting 5 each day to stay on top...
